***Turbo Nightmare***
Every single day I drove my car I have loved it! One day driving home from taking my daughter to school my car starting making a loud clanking noise and smoke came from the back of the car. I took it in for regular maintenance and was told that my turbo was blown and the coolant to the turbo had a leak. I took it to the mazda service department and they told me it was not covered under warranty and I would pay about 4,000-5,000 for new engine/turbo. What a nightmare, now I am paying a car note on a car that is parked in my garage. I can't afford the repairs and I am soon forced to file bankruptcy to have this nightmare end!! *** BEWARE
Mazda's get up and Go
Bought this vehicle in 2012 with 123K miles on it. It is now 2019 with 154+ miles and have not had a single problem with it. Period. Normal oil changes and was told it uses premium gas and I only use regular unleaded. So many bad reviews but mine has held up to the test. Maybe because I don't burn a hot fuel.

Started out as my dream car.....
My CX7 is in the shop again, this time with a $2500 repair. It has 45,000 miles on it and needs a second timing chain as well as a new turbo. I also had the AC replaced this summer. I was so in LOVE with this car when I got it, but after putting 20,000 miles on it and paying THOUSANDS of dollars in repairs, I could not be more disappointed. Mazda knows all of the problems with these CX7- yet doesn't stand behind it when they happen over and over again to according to all these reviews, everyone. Some people say they haven't had problems yet, they will come. Just wait. Had I known Mazda was made by FORD I would have never bought it in the first place.
Fun Car...Needs V6
I've had this car for about a month, a typical Mazda automobile, fun to drive, excellent handling, breaking, and interior design. I would recommend this car to anyone, however its major drawback is the fact it's a Turbo instead of a V6...for some reason Mazda is obsessed with them and it requires PREMIUM GAS!
Love It
As a woman I can say Mazda did their homework. This car is great, fun and easy to drive and I love it.
