Used 2018 Mazda 6 Sport 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6M) Consumer Reviews
Mazdas
I've had two older rotary engine Mazda's, a 2016, and now a 2018 Mazda Sport Manual six speed transmission. Mazda is different. If that's what you're looking for, give them a try. Performance, driving satisfaction. The base model with the manual is an incredible value. I think, the base engines fine. Drive it slow, satisfied feeling, good fuel economy. Drive it fast(put your foot into second, or third gear at around three thousand rpm or above), and it becomes uncivilized. Road curve taking is addictive. I feel so peaceful, and happy when I drive it. It isolates me from the world. Luxury sport sdan. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. The nit picking goes away when you spend time on back roads carving up the twisties. The Mazda symbol is Angel wings. It doesn't disappoint.

Solid and stylish
I just purchased a 2018 Mazda 6 base model with only 22k miles. Highway fuel economy borders on obscene, you can easily get above 40 mpg on a road trip. Ride quality and steering are very smooth, reminds me more of older mid sized American cars than the Camry's I've owned or otherwise driven. The trunk is average height but very deep and nearly a 1.5 feet height worth of storage continues with rear seats down. Acceleration is adequate but this car feels surprisingly subdued and comfortable. Perfect for how I drive but others might expect more 'zoom zoom'. Interior feels very high quality. Tech is user friendly. I would note that XM appears grayed out on the menu but is actually only available on the top trim level without having to add an XM radio. I've found the driver aids helpful but not too sensitive.

Transmission failed at 61k
I really love this car. The handling, the 6 speed, the design. But losing a transmission at 61k is completely unacceptable.
