Used 2016 Mazda 6 i Grand Touring 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Second Mazda
Great overall car. I had a 2014 Mazda 6 Grand Touring but someone t-boned my car. It did so well during the crash that I decided to buy the same car on the newer model. The best only complaint I have is that on my 2014 model the navigation system would show the traffic conditions, but this one doesn't.

Great first impression... Downhill since then!
Beware of the poor tires that come on this vehicle. I was limited by the dealership as to where I could drive when I tested it and later discovered it was not as quiet or comfortable as it was reported to be. The sound system is just ok. The navigation system is ok but doesn't work if you are using an auxiliary input like a e-reader or your mp-3 stick. The mileage promised versus what you will actually get are in different worlds... The mileage I had for over 75,000 miles on my 2011 V-6 Ford Fusion averaged a bit higher! The doors, the trunk, and the hood all sound like a tin can when you open and shut them and perhaps this saves on weight but it makes them easy to dent and have a cheap feel to the vehicle. I had the car less than 40 days and had two issues that required trips to the dealership. This is not what I expect from a Mazda dealer prepped automobile that has been completely examined prior to sale! I hope it is aberration but I fear it is a omen of what is to come. I like the feel of driving this vehicle, but I am less satisfied with it now that when I bought it. If Ford had not discontinued the Fusion for 2019, I probably would have bought a late model Fusion instead. I looked at Altimas, Foresters, Sonatas, Optimas, and Malibus, before buying the top of the line Mazda. As nice as it is, I still wonder if the will go zoom, zoom for or zoom, zip, rip, kaput!

continues to exceed expectations
Went from a 2015 Nissan Altima to this and couldn't be happier with my decision. The ride quality and overall value of this car is hard to believe. The only minor issues are road noise, however it is tuned for sportier driving and comes with low-profile 19" all-season tires, so that's to be expected. Small price to pay for such a great driving feel.

Mazda 6 I GrandTouring
Check around dealerships on pricing. Don't believe them on the remote control via the smartphone being included. They want $65/year!! Other than that, I truly am enjoying this car!

Buy this car
Let me start off by stating that I commute 150 miles round trip to North Jersey on the NJ turnpike daily and I bought this car for this purpose. The Mazda 6 GT is the most attractive and functional vehicle I have ever owned. This car holds it own compared to other more expensive vehicles on the road and is a balanced, affordable luxury package in my opinion. Exterior fit and finish are excellent as are the materials in the cabin. Switches have great tactile feel and safety features can't be beat. Electronics are very good but still doesn't have CarPlay capability. Currently I'm getting 32.5 MPG on regular gas and regularly cruise the TP at 80 to 85 MPH. While this car is no drag racer, it has ample power that comes on early, so if you get on it you'd better hang on. Handling is terrific and the ride is just what I like but the car is somewhat light and moves a little in high wind. This is the best long distance commuter you can get.
