M6
This car has lived up to all my expectations. Super smooth on the highway and crisp on the back roads. The space with the hatchback is phenomenal. I have carried three kids, our 75lb dog, and luggage with no problems. This car actually replaced a minivan. I thought it would be difficult to give up the space I had with the van.The Mazda6 Hatchback can hold lots of stuff and still look sporty. The only drawback I have encountered has been the tires that came with the car. They are below average on snow and ice. Everywhere else they are good performers. Next winter I will invest in a set of good snow tires. The winters are long and stormy up here in Northern New England.
Good Car
I brought a Madza, V6, with 60,000 mi, a month ago. Someone just hit me this weekend and cracked the back fender and wheelwell. So far, I'm very happy with this sporty, stylish car. It gets a lot of compliments. The car is bright red with 17" alloy wheels. The engine is very quiet. I can barely hear it while I drive. The car is fast too. The V6 is suppose to have 220 HP. Once I test drove it, I decided to buy it. I do have one issue with the car. It's hard to see out the back window, and the blindside on the passenger's side is bad. It's hard to see if there are cars on my right side. I have to be more careful when I parallel park. Other than that, the Madza is a good car.

Very disappointed in my Mazda6
It seems like a solid car, and it handles nice, but there are too many things about it that fall short of expectations. Bought the 5-Door S model with 6 speed auto. I have owned it about 2 months. Compared to my '98 Maxima with a 5 speed manual, this car is SLOW. Maybe the automatic is the problem. It couldn't get up a hill if your life depended on it. The ride with the sport suspension is horrible on bumpy roads. The gas mileage is pathetic. I average 19 mpg combined. Climate control never blows hot air. Honestly, I would gladly take $2,000 less than what I paid for it and buy something else.
Great Car
I just bought my new 6s 5 door with the leather package and the 6 speed AT. Looked at one with the Bose/Moonroof package but wasn't overly impressed by the sound of the Bose stero and the head space was limited with the moonroof so I went with the leather instead. Handles wonderful, very smooth on the highway and fun on the backroads. I disagree with other reviews that I have read saying that the ride was overly harsh; I think it's where it should be for a sports sedan. Huge space in the back makes it practical and sporty which is a hard to find combination. With dealer incentives and rebates I paid more than $2000 under invoice. After much looking it's a very tough car to beat for the price.
6th Mazda
Excellent finish and fit. Built by the UAW which proves that great cars can be built by union labor. My 6th Mazda and the best yet. Very quick and very responsive. Solid feel without feeling heavy. Flat cornering. Silky smooth manual with short throw clutch. Attention to details. Very techno without being gadgety. Easy to learn. Keeps the fun in driving. Zoom. Zoom.
