As an IT guy, I don't enjoy all of the software glitches I've been experiencing. I've also had to replace a dead battery already, but I'm chalking that up to lack of driving due to COVID. Every so often, I'm plagued with the following system anomalies after starting: Backup assist failure Collision assist failure Apple Carplay failure Freezing of the Audio controls I have to turn off the vehicle. Open the door. Close the door. Restart. Most often it clears.

this is my fourth Lincoln in the past 10 years..The good...looks great, quiet, new transmission noticeably better. Clever button to turn off the screen is perfectly located and a very handy addition. Mileage is better than my prior Black Label MKC. Lane keeping is nice. The not so good, the seat is very uncomfortable. The problem is in the upper back. There is an intentional lump. It is also in the passenger seat. I got in another Corsair and found the same lump. on a long drive with the seat reclined a bit, you will be hurting (I do not have back problems). The seat controls on the door are a step backwards, not intuitive and difficult to use. I can see eliminating the spare tire and jack, as that is the rage now. I was willing to pay more to get it, the dealer would not sell one?? The cruise controls are redesigned and pretty, but you have to use two hands to operate them as some controls are on the right and others on the left of the steering wheel. Like most people, I drive with one hand most of the time.

This car was a purchase for my mother in law. Given the low inventory on the lots we had to imagine and piece together what the car would look like based upon similar but different vehicles. We were fortunate to find one that very close to our ideal car. The dealership we worked with was wonderful. Fair sales price and trade in. No pressure. The car was perfect and exceeded our expectations.

New 2021 Lincoln Corsair Reserve. A large step up from the dowdy 2019 (nice) MKC. Lincoln is trying to capture a younger crowd (less than 65 years olds) and is certainly succeeding getting now the 40-60 crowd with more "German" drive style and interior outlay [like how GENESIS is capturing the BMW-driving crowd]. I look forward to the next Lincoln generation, just to see where it will lead. I have certainly NO regrets driving this Corsair.
