I am 6'4" first SUV that I could fit in comfortably. Ease of getting in and out a pleasure. Have all the bells and whistles - like the 12.3 nav screen added mud guards pin stripping( outside vendor) body side moldings - like riding a luxury sedan

Our Last Lexus

We have owned 4 Lexus's, 3-RX's and one SC. Our 2016 RX 350 which we bought new will be our last. With only 31,128 miles. the lane assist malfunctioned. Lexus service noted the issue as "Steering Wheel vibrator and ecu. DTC C1a74". The repair cost $2,718. Lexus service (Roswell, GA dealership) could care less about the issue, other than I was provided a loaner during the two day repair. I understand now why Lexus has dropped in overall quality ratings.

Ok this is my 3rd RX350 and the seats in this car feel hard as rock while riding more than 45 minutes. What is this a Jeep Wrangler?! I feel every friggin bump in the road. Had I know this ride was going to be this bumping and loud I would have bought the darn small Ranger Rover instead. The design is not the my favorite either. Now some will say why did you buy it? Loyalty. Well now I know that should not be the reason if the brand is not going to be loyal to me. The cost is higher and I can't seem to figure out why. Overall I am just not as happy with this model thus far. Keep in mind I have only had the car for 5 days as of May 17th 2016. I purchased mines from Park Place Lexus in Plano, TX.

L FOR LAZY LEXUS

Something wrong is going on with Lexus Corp. The 2016 RX 350 even without the F sport package has loud noises penetrating the cabin. The shifts between gears in the new 8 speed automatic are not smooth as expected from Lexus. The RX was always a comfortable car. That is what Lexus pioneered. Suddenly they are chasing the Germans with this mid life crisis and anahialting a big chunk of there customer base. The build quality in certain areas is impeccable - though other manufacturers are catching up. When's the last time you sat in a Lincoln Black Label trim? The Lexus RX should focus on creating two destinct models. The F sport should be sporty while the regular spec 350 should be super luxurious. I have 4 friends who have the new RX and they ALL regret not extending the lease on the 2013/2015 model they had. They feel the older body style was superior on the comfort side. The 8 speed is not smooth and the car is noisier??

I was super happy to buy a Lexus, but now wish I had stuck with my Nissan. After only 10000 miles, the car has had many many issues that they can not fix. For starters, it whistles loudly some times depending on which way the wind is blowing, and I have a video of that. The power locks do not always work and I have to get the key fob out to unlock the doors. But the most concerning to me is that I get a message the the breaking power is low and to pull over immediately and call service department. They can not fix this issue or replicate in the service department. And now the parking break does not always engage. I am seriously considering contacting an attorney and claiming this as a lemon. Not what you would expect out of a $50k+ vehicle! And when I first bought the car, the airbag on the passenger side would not turn on when someone was sitting in the seat. Update 5.18.16 - They have replaced the break booster as advised by Lexus. Will update again if this fixes the issue. Update 10.18.16 - Break booster fixed the one problem. The parking break not engaging is a timing issue and lexus tells me that is they it works. You have to wait a few seconds or more before turning off the car for the break to engage. Still have the issue with the power locking of the doors not always working. I have a video of that and hope to have them nvestigate. They have no solution for the whistling noise, but wanted to remove the luggage racks. Not a fix in my opinion, but a work around. Still wish I had purchased a different vehicle.
