Used 2016 Lexus RX 350 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 8A) Consumer Reviews
Not what I thought
The trunk is on the smaller side. After I put my kids sports equipment and bags in, there is no more room. Back seat guests are comfortable. My big complaint is the gas mileage. I actually watch the gas tank drain down. There is also a slight hesitation when I first accelerate unless it's in sport mode. I’m disappointed overall. Can’t wait to trade in for something different.

Disappointed
This was my 3rd RX. Fell in love with the look of the car. But it has a loud droning noise, vibration that you can feel from the tires to the steering wheel. I have had it in the shop and they claim it's the exhaust. I hate driviving the vehicle. So disappointing.

Don’t purchase......Run the other way!
Don’t purchase! Purchased this car brand new at the dealership in 2016. It’s had nothing but problems - all four door actuators stopped working starting in 2018 through 2021. The steering column went out, mirror motor went out. The end of last year the water pump assembly failed and had to be replaced. The last year and a half it’s sounded like a faucet was running behind the glove box and the car has had a smell. Multiple trips to the dealer saying it was “normal”. Found out that the AC drain was apparently clogged by a spider and caused the drain to back up and water entered the cabin. Carpet and padding on both the drivers side and passenger side completely waterlogged and mold under the mats. Was told at the dealer that this is a known issue and they will clean and order a part to “keep the spiders out”. The warranty covered some of this work, but this car is a real money pit. Do yourself (and your wallet a favor) and look at another car. You can thank me later

Hard to Beat the RX 350
I've had it for a few months. Over 2K miles, including some road trips. Extremely quiet, solid ride on the highway. Feels very safe, fun to drive, easy handling on roads and parking, good acceleration, great gas mileage (27-30hwy/26 city), great sound system, love the 12" screen on the navigation/entertainment system. Great interior touches, contrast stitching. Drove the Murano before buying the Lexus. Loved the anti-gravity seats, so would like to see more comfort in the Lexus seats, but handling much better than the Murano. No experience with service yet, but so far very reliable and no problems.
NOT A TOTALLY GREAT VALUE
Some of CA Curmudgeon’s comments sound like he’s talking about a pre-2016 RX350. On my Wife’s 2016 RX350, I agree that voice command doesn’t work very well and the optional winter front floor mats were obviously designed by a committee of lawyers. If Lexus isn’t willing to offer functional floor mats, they just shouldn’t offer any at all. My major complaint is with the over-priced navigation system, which we didn’t want to begin with. It frequently suggests routes that are NOT efficient. When engaged, the map itself is usually accurate, but the verbal and text directions are often 180 degrees wrong. When I brought this to the attention of the dealer’s service department, they suggested I buy an update, with NO guarantee the problem would be resolved. This has spooked my Wife to the point that I bought her a Garmin nuvi 2599, with lifetime updates and traffic and that’s what we use in lieu of the built-in. I’m not sure the frontal Pre-Collision System works. The dealer was not willing to do a dynamic test.
