Used 2017 Lexus NX 200t 4dr SUV (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6A) Consumer Reviews
Most Reliable and Safe SUV
I was looking for a SUV for my family. I always owned compact cars and loved Toyota's. I wanted something more premium for my family. I traded in my Toyota Sienna for the NX200t. I was thinking about buying a RAV4 or a Highlander but I found the NX was better. It's safe and reliable and a fun to drive vehicle. I love that the vehicle has all the bells and whistles my family needs. I had no problems yet with this vehicle and I will always stick with Lexus. I recommend this vehicle if you want a Safe, Reliable, Responsive and Fuel Efficient vehicle.

These cars have bushing problems after 40k miles
My 2017 Lexus was made before the Pandemic. Which means, installing inferior bushings that won't last up to 80-100k like they're supposed to, is going to be a costly expense. So the Pandemic is NO excuse ! After complaining to corporate, they state it's non-warrantable and it's a normal wear and tear. $2000 to replace two knuckle bushings ?? There's 18 bushings in the back of the car itself ! And more in the front ! It sounds like a clunker car and nothing like a luxury car. Sad but true. Disappointing as it is, corporate Lexus will NOT do a thing for you ! UPDATE: Not only do the bushings go bad but the suspension of struts make this car RIDE LIKE A TRUCK. Annoying sound that makes your feel like the front end has no shocks ! Battery replacement every two years. What is draining this battery to do this ?

WINDSHIELD WASHER TROUBLE
I have a 2017 model with only 40,000 miles, and in general, it has been OK. However, the windshield washer indicator showed that it needed to be refilled. I took it to the mechanic who said that the entire system needs to be replaced. Lexus wants over $1000 for the job. My contention is that this should NOT happen with a so called luxury car with low mileage. I expect better from Lexus. Between my husband and me, we have had many different kinds of cars and never experienced this problem. I send a letter to corporate regarding this matter, and I am waiting for their response. I definitely can't afford that amount of money for a windshield washer system. I would like to know if there's anyone else who have had this issue. Thanks for letting me share this information.
