Great Car, Stiff Seats!

I like this Lexus except for one thing - the uncomfortable seats. A friend had the same experience during her test drive. Anyone else notice this?

Lexus Lacking

This car is a good car, but it’s not for everyone. Turns out, it’s not for me. My first luxury car purchase, got it as a CPO and got a hell of a deal. The excitement wore off really quickly though and I’m trying to see if I can trade it in before I have to pay for registration. Pros: great value for your money, lots of features, Lexus reliability, super comfy seats (F-Sport), eye-catching front end styling. Cons: fit and finish (lots of rattles), ugly rear styling, AWD (total joke, my Tiguan never had torque steer), powerful but unrefined sound system, drawn out turbo lag. The tech is manageable but still frustrating to use. Again, it’s a good vehicle and it gets you from point A to point B comfortably. However, if you want something that is engaging to drive, this isn’t it. Even the F-Sport doesn’t help the experience.

Lexus and toyota need to fix their door lock issues. My nx200 t drivers door lock works intermittently with remote. Have to climb thru the front seat to unlock drivers door. Another major repair to replace door actuator. Dealer and Lexus covered the full cost of 2 door lock actuators.

Defective bushings after 40k miles

After being told by Lexus that bushings will wear out but at 40k miles ?? I've owned an older RX model but never had a problem like this. $2300 to replace a knuckle bushings ?? Corporate Lexus gave me the shaft. Cheap rubber materials being used on these cars. Spoke with other Lexus owners and they have had the same bushing problems. Done buying new Lexus cars !

Chosen from BMW X-1, Infinity QX30, and Audi Q3

The Infinity is an old car design by comparison. The Audi is a little bit smaller all around. The BMW was impossible to buy from my local dealer. They have way too high an opinion of their car. Should have bought the Audi. I've driven one and it is much smoother and quieter and peppier and gets better mileage. The Lexus is an ok car, but I should have stuck with the Audi or gone to a different dealer and tried for the BMW. Both the Audi and the BMW are much tighter cars than the Lexus and their technology is much easier to set up and use.
