6 years old and and still like new
Update 2020 another year with the vehicle - 8000 more miles and it is still quieter than some 2020 vehicles. Worth the investment - if your looking for a luxury SUV there is no better choice - you have a lot of luxury SUV vehicles on the road but only a couple that people will notice and that is a Lexus you can drive a 1,000 miles and get out of the car feeling great and not tired great ride - quiet - smooth ride at 80 mph with plenty left under the hood UPDATE This 5 year old SUV rides better than a brand new competitor - it is still as quiet as a new one - other than new tires no repairs - no issues - divide the cost over 5 years look at the resale value and this car is actually less than many of its competitors - love the company -

Best vehicle i ever had
WOW!!! it is a amazing machine!!!. i have had almost all the best SUV but this is my first time buying a lexus SUV. i had a lexus car before therefore i knew what to expect from lexus. the ride is quite, comfortable, vehicle is very agile, responsive and powerful. all suvs have almost same gas milage in this class. but LX 570 excels them in all departments. i traded my landr rover and promised myself for not buying another european rest of my life. even after spending so much money i am really happy and do not feel got ripped off or i have made a wrong decesion. it is really a amazing machine. trust me cut all other expenses and just get one. i got fully loaded with all the feaure
- Base 4dr SUVMSRP: $30,50088 mi away
- Base 4dr SUVMSRP: $27,850103 mi away
- Base 4dr SUVMSRP: $34,987196 mi away
remove 3rd row seats
If you need to haul around 8 people, this is NOT for you. I'm guessing 90% of the buyers will never use the 3rd road seats, but would rather have the increased storage room. That's my only my only complaint. I removed the seats, stored them in my basement and expect they'll be there for the next 10 years. Otherwise, this is the best SUV you could ever ask for. What a delight to drive.

LX-570 Review - I Love This Car!
It has been 3 years and 60,000 miles since I purchased my 2010 Lexus LX 570 brand new from Lexus dealership in Santa Monica, California. The more I drive my LX, the more I am convinced that I made the right choice! When I did my search for a new car, my only requirements were to drive a large luxury SUV. As an owner of 2 companies that drives approximately 20,000 miles a year, my needs were "Luxury" and "Utility". I test drove BMW's X5, Mercedes GL-450, Land Rover, The Audi Q7, Cadillac Escalade, and the Lincoln Navigator. In my opinion, the LX-570 had many advantages over the others. It's ride was the smoothest and quietest. It was COMFORTABLE! (Extremely comfortable in fact) Ergonomically, none of the others came even close. It's navigation with Destination Assist was by far the most advanced and easiest to use. (I use it all the time and love it). Fit and finish and especially reliability are second to none. It's size was also very appealing to me. It's not too big such as the Escalade and Navigator, and yet it's still big enough for a 3rd row seat. It's also very wide and roomy inside which I really like. The European SUVs on the other hand, felt very narrow and tight and many lacked the 3rd row seat. I have had the opportunity to drive my LX in various driving conditions. From day to day L.A. traffic, to a 300+ mile drive in stormy rain and snow thru windy mountain roads and even driving all the way to Montana and back with 5 adults and fully loaded with gear. (5500 miles in 19 days to visit all the major national parks in the western states, including, Yellow Stone, Teton, Glacier, Olympic, Mount Rainier, Mount Saint Helen, Redwood Forest, etc) I have also done several day long trips to various other cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tucson and San Francisco to name just a few. (I do several trade shows each year) In all my travels, whether I'm driving thru the desert at 120 degrees Fahrenheit or in inclement weather, I find the LX comfortable, luxurious, quiet, smooth and reassuring.
as good as it gets
have owned many different luxury suv's. it doesn't get any better than the lx570. lexus service dept. is also excellent.
Love the LX570
If you want a Land Cruiser this is a better option. If you buy slighly used you can get a deep discount. If you seek or compare either to a Range Rover you haven't owned one, driven one and/or done enough research to know what a hunk of junk the RR really so please stop with the nonsense. I have driven and know the Merc is super solid and reliable, not sure it is as nice unless you compare to the G wagon or maybe AMG packages. I bought the LX for my wife and I want to get one for myself because it is bad to the bone. I towed my 7,000 lb boat on a 2000 mi trip just to see how it would do and while I probably didn't look as cool as the guy is his F-250 I can guarantee I was more comfortable as the LX was an absolute beast. P.S. If fuel economy is concern and you drive in town a bunch you shouldn't buy. Mine gets 20 mpg at 75 mph.

Best SUV I’ve Ever Owned
I bought my 2010 LX 570 three years ago with 44,000 miles on it. I now have 118,600. That’s about 24,600 miles a year. It has required a complete brake job as well as a new Alternator and Battery. I expect to have to replace the Starter and I’m told maybe the fuel pump before long. That’s to be expected of a car of this mileage & age, so no complaint there. The car is large, comfortable and great for long highway miles in west Texas and New Mexico. Four wheel drive will go trout fishing with me and then dress up and look nice for in town. I was looking for another one just like it, only later model, but I think I’ll hit just another 20k & then see how I feel.

Rock Solid 116k miles and going
Bought this LX 2013 model in 2014 as a CPO Replaced a Range Rover HSE that was amazing until 80 k miles then went south. The Lexus has been an amazing vehicle. Solid in all weather- like the RR. But every time I service the Lexus I’m still in shock at how inexpensive it is to maintain!!!! The RR was at least $1k each service. The Lexus is $200-350. Nominal really considering the vehicle.
Ultimate of the Ultimates!
This is simply the ultimate, go anywhere do anything with class luxury SUV available on the planet. Our family owned the 2003 LX 470 and that was great, but this is beyond great. We looked at the best from Land Rover, Mercedes and even the Cadillac and there was no comparison. Value for value, reliability for reliability and capability for capability there is no other SUV that compares. Own one and you will understand!
Third owner and HAPPY
I’ve had an Acura MDX, Nissan Pathfinder, Toyota Landcruiser, smaller Lexus SUV GX and an older Lexus 470. Loved them all but the Acura and Nissan. This has the tightest steering and overall comfort. My entire family loves it. Drives like a tank so I feel we are all as safe as we can possibly be. Purchased 12/16

Only a Lexus for me!
Bought this Lexus LX 570 2013 used, as my older LX 470 had been totaled in a car accident. I'd had the other Lexus for fourteen years, and am convinced it saved my life when the accident occurred. I love this car, and will happily drive it for as long as it lasts.

The Land Cruiser of a King
This vehicle is the 4th LX we have purchased. Following in the traditions of our LX 450 and two LX 470s, the LX 570 continues Lexus' trend of building quality vehicles that will endure the abuse of winters in Upstate New York, while also continuing to perform at a high level. The ride quality is excellent, with active height control and driver-controlled suspension. The Adaptive Front Lighting System finally makes its appearance on the flagship Lexus SUV, which makes navigating the winding roads of the Adirondacks that much easier in darkness. The styling is reminiscent of the LS 460, carefully lifted and placed upon an LX chassis. You will not be disappointed with this vehicle.
Six CD changer, enough said.
I don’t know about you, but next time you can find a 2011, 89000 miles car with a six (6) CD that still works like new, call me. I don’t care about radar cruise control, lane departure, cross traffic, four cameras, I have eyes and hands. I have an iPhone so don’t care for GPS, but Mark Levinson sounds amazing. The leather seats are very beefy, don’t mistaken these with the soft leather on other Lexus, those will rip in no time. The land cruiser and LX leather are very beefy. Only thing that’s wrong for me is the wood veneer, for this price please use thicker but cheaper wood, who needs a Yamaha piano wood VENEER?? Summer heat inevitably will bake it and warp it. It’s veneer glued onto a plastic base, then clipped into the dash. Increase the weight of the wood and use cheaper quality ones or just use plastic through and through. V8 power and transmission smooth as silk. Simply incredible driving experience. Steering dead centered with a hydraulic weight, but not tiring for the shoulders. The steering and wheel coordination is so consistent and accurate it’s effortless to steer despite the initial impression of a “heavy” steering wheel.

2013 Lexus LX570
Purchased this vehicle as CPO. This vehicle will definitely not attract most of the SUV lovers. It's fuel economy is not great and it holds too less for what it needs. As the review says there are many other options that have better features. The new HID adaptive headlights with the spindle grill definitely update the car to certain degree. If you want to buy a large, flagship SUV that has awesome "Lexus" reliability and descent maintenance cost that you'll keep for a decade or so while treated welcome at the dealers, this is your car. Otherwise, go lease the European rides and return them as soon as your lease is up or get rid of them once the warranty ends.
cruiser
THis is a huge cruiser with a great ride quality. I drove the Infinity QX, Benz GL, BMW X5, and Range Rovers/ Land Rover. LX 570 did not have the best acceleration, handling, or looks. But it did have the best ride quality and reliability. I heard horror stories about MB GL and Range Rover/Land Rover. The dealers make more money on fixing these cars than selling them. I havent heard too many horror stories about the BMW's. At the end of the day, I wanted my wife to by the porsche SUV. Porsche is the only car that I am willing to forgive for less than a reliable history. If you ever drove the porsche, you'll know what I am talking about. AS always, my wife won so we got the Lexus LX.
Awesome
I will never drive another SUV and I have never been more happy with a purchase in my life. Power, comfort, ease of driving. A true machine.
Best vehicle
This is my third Lexus, the first two were LX 470's and after I sold the last one I decided to get a two year old Rang Rover Sport (supercharged) for a change. And what a change, overheating problems, brakes binding requiring new pads and rotors after 30,000Km and a leaking sunroof that caused a wiring short inside the passenger side quarter panel. Looked good and was reasonably comfortable and was incredibly fast with that supercharger, but horribly let down by reliability issues. I then decided that for that kind of money I should get something I know would be reliable like my two previous Lexus's. I wasn't disappointed and have found the LX 570 to be many times nicer than the the 470
Brute Luxury - No comparison
I have owned 5 Toyota (Lexus is an upscale Toyota) SUV's...only got rid of them after they were totaled. I still own an 87 Land Cruiser with original engine that is more reliable than some other cars I have. I have had 2 Sequoias and they were rugged and reliable. A 2001 protected my family in a T-bone accident. I had a 2010 Lexus LX570 that protected my family well in a T-bone crash when someone ran a red light...again. My 2014 LX570 is beautiful...still looks better in 2019 vs. most other SUV's. There may be more modern safety or infotainment features on newer cars, but this one is reliable and can't be beat off-road. It is a great all around performer...great for business, date night, and mudding. I look forward to when they are finally upgraded. This generation has been around since 2008.

Nice, Very NIce
Traded in a Mercedes GL450 for this car. While the Mercedes drove more like a car vs. a large SUV the LX570 is much more of a luxurious ride. There is also much more interior space. My three kids noticed it before I did. We have much less issues with "Stop touching me!". We had a road trip in the car and found it to be very comfortable. Very pleasurable to drive. Lots of extras on the car. The Navigation system was outstanding and easy to use. The sound system is great and the kids loved the built in DVD. Overall a very nice car. We liked it better than the Mercedes, and the Range Rover.
Cat's meow
Luxury at a great price and that price is the best class of resale I have ever experienced. This is our 2ND lx570 and we had 3 rx400's and a luccasee boot leather interior tundra before. All great performers and little to no service issues.

Best Truck I ever had !!!!!!!!!
I own a 2009 LX570 I bought off lease with 39,000 miles It presently has 73,000 miles & gives me no problems . The only things I've replaced are tires , brakes & the hydraulic line at Lexus for $1,000.00.Every power option still work great . 6 C.D. changer ,7 keyless entry no problem . I've owned a Rodeo ,Forunner , Escalade ,Highlander, X-Terra & Tahoe prior to this LX . This is by far the best roomy ,smoothest ,maintenance free truck I've owned . It does drink gas but no more than my escalade or even the 6cyl X-Terra . I highly recommend this truck if you want a maintenance free truck . Plus a truck you won't see everybody driving !

LX 570 THE Luxury SUV
I traded a 2007 GX in 2009. The LX is the finest automobile I have ever driven!!Have had Navagator and Escilade! The LX 570 beats them hands down!!! After one year of driving I have had NO problems!!! I would purchase a Lexus again!! Furman Walter
Very Pleased
Almost purchased another G55 AMG but am glad I didn't. The Lexus is far better for on road comfort then the Benz, and the off-roading is about the same. Its also far better looking in and out and boast more amenities. Very Glad I made the switch.
Same old stuff but worse
I owned a 2011 LX 570 and enjoyed it, it drove great and I never had any problems with the SUV. I purchased a 2014 LX 570, 3 months ago and have been surprised & disappointed. The electronics system sucks. The navigation is not up to date, there are 36 presets on the radio sound system, but I am not able to label them. So I have 36 numbers. It is a danger looking for a particular station. The weather map looks like a five year old with a magic marker. The Lexus Enform App never works. $93K and I have a 1990 Ford Escort electronics package. Since I submitted the initial review I have turned it in and got another SUV but not a Lexus

Smooth rider
People who buy Lexus want the reliability and quality of a Toyota but the luxury of a German SUV and the maintenance of a Japanese car. That is what I get in this SUV. Great amount of technology, decent ride. Seats could be better and the ride and handling needs to be improved by a long way when compared to the range rover which feels more sturdy. For someone that has owned range rover, bmw x5, merc ML I have to say this does compete with them but it too has its shortfalls like the other SUVs.
Lexus LX 570
I purchased this vehicle on July 30, 2013. Nothing but problems. First day tire pressure warning light came. Took it back to the dealer and they repaired it driving home 8 miles later came on again. Took back to dealer and they replaced sensors. On Thursday September 12 car completely shut down very scary moment. Lost all power SCRA light came on, warnings lights, engine lights on. Couldn't restart no power, head lights stayed on locked in park couldn't do anything even lock doors to call Lexus. Lexus service sent out a tow truck and they had to put the car on dollies in order to tow it back to dealer Newport Lexus Sales Manager explained that vehicle is dangerous refused to replace it.
Still the best long-trip car I ever owned.
The LX-570 replaced an Acura MDX and a Lincoln Navigator before that. After 125,000 miles it rides like new. I took the MDX to about 80K and it was a rough ride and sloppy handling. The Navigator, which is very similar in size and ride, had recurring service problems that were never completely fixed. I drove it 60K and dumped it. I have taken the LX from California to Connecticut and back three times. It was like riding in first class on a plane. I expect that I’ll take this car to 200K miles or more. It still looks brand new. And Lexus service sets the high mark without breaking the bank.

Perfection
Very Happy with my purchase. Test drove Range Rover, LR4, and H2, none of with could come close in any category. Center Consul Cool Box is convenient.
Another Fine Lexus You've Got Me In!
This is my 7th Lexus and my second LX (1st was 1998). This vehicle is SO much more than the previous model - and not only in price! I have physical limitations and this vehicle makes entry, exit and driving easy, easy, easy. Yes, the gas mileage is poor, but you just have to know that up front and move on. We also have an '07 GX which I would say is the better vehicle for the price. But I have trouble getting in and out of it. Still a great car. My LX has ALL the options. Some seem absurd (i.e., unnecessary), but we are learning to use them all. I love the no key function (again, an ease of entry issue), AND especially the air cooled seats. Anyone will enjoy this if you can get over price.
Don’t count on Lexus for warranty
We love the car, but it making skreetchy noise and Lexus thinks they know what is causing the noise but they will not repair it. It is an abnoxous sound. The money paid for this car; it should not be making abnoxous sounds. Apparently warranty doesn’t cover engine bay making sqeeeky abnoxous sounds. We should have gotten a Mercedes to receive better service.

Dont buy or lease this SUV for this PRICE !!!!!!!!
I'm SO glad im leasing this LX. I got out lease on MB GL 450 on Nov. 2010. Me and my wife loved it. My wife wanted to lease new GL but I wanted to something diff. We were almost got Range Rover but with 3 children (5, 3yrs, amd 6 months) it was little small. Only 2 reasons to lease this - got pretty good deal b/c I knew the GM at Lexus dealer and never had Lexus SUV. After 3100 miles, I really dont like this SUV for THIS PRICE RANGE !!!!! If this is $50k range then it's acceptable. AGAIN NOT OVER $70k SUV !!! Here is why - 1. doesnt feel solid as GL 2. Horrible connectivity on bluetooth - other person can not hear well 3. ROAD NOISE compared to GL. 4. Doesnt feel like this $75k Luxury SUV
The Beast
Love everything. Rides and drives like a dream. Pulls boat, camper utility trailer with ease.
