I had a new GS-350 as a company car. It's very...uh, nice, I guess. The handling is mushy and imprecise. The drivetrain is about as responsive as a defensive tackle. It has all the creature comforts you would expect from a Lexus. However, the stereo is lousy - whoever Mark Levinson is, he's stealing money from Lexus by getting paid to put his name on the premium sound system. All in all, it's a car that will make you feel older than you are. I didn't realize how little fun it is to drive until I quit my job and bought an Acura TL - now THAT's a driver's car.

FSport, Jewel 3.5L V6, Cool 19" wheels

Bought it for its 3.5L V6 and RWD bias engine lay out. It has 112K miles and two owners and no accidents. We had this V6 engine in wife's 2010 RX350 and her 2013 Sienna. Sienna had 168K miles when we sold it with ZERO issues. Smooth and quiet in any temperature. While driving the GS, you can feel that it as the same engine under the hood. My BIGGEST issue with any Toyota/Lexus is their claimed gas tank size. Both RX350 and Sienna were short 2 gallons off their claimed capacity. This one says.. it holds 17.4 gallons and I was able to put only 15.87 gallons. They may hold 17.4 gallons but some is not usable. It is probably in some areas of the tank that the pump can't use. The car looks and drives great. The interior door panel leather is so soft and flimsy that in so many of them, you see it wrinkled and bunched up, aging the car. The headlights on mine are oxidized more than they should have. Sold my 2017 Passat SE with 1.8L turbo for this GS. I will miss the openness of Passat's interior as I feel the GS cabin is on the tight side and it feels like it is closing on you. There is not a whole lot of back seat room in GS either. To me it is not important, as no one will sit in the back seat. I also have a 2014 E550 that I am planning on keeping. GS350 AWD and E550 4matic feel and drive so differently but both are fun to drive in their own ways, and are worth keeping both.

Just bought this GS350 two weeks ago with 112K miles from its second owner. I was looking for a GS since it is RWD and it has that great 3.5L V6 that we had in my wife's 2010 RX350 and her 2013 Toyota Sienna. That engine is one of the best V6s out there that Toyota discontinued in favor of a new 2.4L four Turbo that is powering everything! I found GS interior on the tight side. as soon as you get in the car, it feels likes everything closes on you. The rear seat leg room is very small. The leather material on door trims is very thin and on so many GS, they are mostly bunched up and no longer look good. I expect the reliability to be as good as other Toyota products, we have owned.

purchased the car with 99k miles. sold it at 160k miles. it was doing 18-20mpg premium fuel. very comfortable. fast engine. very reliable. stereo sounded great. only issues were some door actuators acting iffy, control arms were starting to go. this was a great commuting car, great long distance car. i only got rid of it to go electric because of a new lengthier commute.

My 98’ LS 400 is a better than 14’ GS350

Like: Head lights, parking/blind spot sensors, rear cross traffic alert, brakes, retracting side view mirrors, radar cruise, heated & cooled seats, navigation screen location, 30mpg Hwy, 14.5 ft trunk. Dislike: Stiff ride on 19”rims, interior door panel rattles and squeaks, sunroof rattle, very noisy direct injection engine, very noisy engine/accessory/ transmission, lack of engine torque, 17mpg city.

First Toyota was a 1985 Celica GT-S 5-speed standard. A pleasure to drive, and bullet-proof. Subsequent Scandinavian/German/European US brands, Honda had reasonable road manners, but difficult dependability, IME. Lexus GS 350 F-Sport restores joy and confidence in driving. Reliable, refined, comfortable, reasonably economical. Tech is NOT A PROBLEM, once you get used to it. Staggered set-up (I don't have AWD, despite categorization) prevents tire rotation and limits all-season options, so will square this in 2024. Highly recommended. (My other car is a 2010 Sienna - same engine, also fun and reliable.)
