GREAT CAR. I LOVE IT
Great car, no real problems with it so far...have had it for 5 years....doesnt let me down....some minor repairs have been made, but not nearly as often as some of it's american competitors....i love it, and would recommend it to anyone looking at mid to late 90 land rover discoverys
Not the best 4x4 by far
OK, so I bought it used. But unless the previous owner was the Torture Test- driver from Car and Driver magazine, it shouldn't have been this bad. Constantly stalled, leaked, rattled, shook, squealed, and just plain broke down. I was going to trade it in to get a new car, but it won't stay out of the mechanic's long enough to get to a dealer. Mileage sucks, tires and breaks wear out way too fast, and it costs a fortune to fix (my mechanic just bought a castle). Anyway, it sucks, flat out. By something--anything--else.
Disco I's
If you are looking for a vehicle that will get you from point A to point B no matter the terrain or weather this is it!Fuel economy is what you would expect from a V8 utility vehicle!
Terrible car
The car stalled out again today on the way to work. The speedometer quit working and everything else is wrong with it! HORRIBLE!
OUCH!! That's expensive
Have had problems with the intake manifold gasket, alternator, power steering leaks, master cylinder & ABS relays, SRS relays, brakes wearing out easily, power window control unit, shocks, oil leaks etc. I had high hopes that this was a TRULY rugged and well built vehicle, but i have been dissapointed in overall performance & maintenance issues vs. cost of owning.
