Jack of all Trades, Master of One
I have the fully optioned GT2 RWD version. This car is fantastic. I'm not sure what can be said that hasn't already been said, but I'll try to put my ideas down. This car is a sum of all that it is, along with a sum of all that it is not, and in understanding this, it still comes out on top as a master of what it truly is. Is it sporty? Yes, but it's not a sports car, and it doesn't pretend to be. It gives you enough for a taste when the mood strikes, but it's not built to set any new lap records. It'll take off from a standstill (0-60mph in 4.7s) and roll-on fast enough with a strong smooth linear power delivery that will keep any true sports/muscle car honest in that they have to be serious about keeping the Stinger behind them, but it's no drag strip champion. It'll go around corners better than almost any family sedan you can name, but it's not setup for sports car scalpel-like corner carving. It doesn't have a manual transmission, but you can tell it you want to control shifts yourself, and it'll let you do that. The suspension, even in sport mode, leans more towards the comfort side of sport. The ride is almost never jarring. It's a highly capable sporty mile-eater, and if we accept that's what it actually is, then we can accept that the race-track and drag-strip is not what it was designed for. Is it a luxury sedan? Yes, but it's not top-shelf luxury, and it doesn't pretend to be. It gives you a good taste of quality leather trim, soft touch materials, brushed aluminium accents, quality controls, 3-zone automated climate control, a soft quality ceiling, plenty of room front and rear, stitched panels, with middling-firm but extremely comfortable ventilated/heated seats that makes it an enjoyable place to be for hours upon hours at a time, but it cheapens out at below knee height, and that's fine unless you spend all your time in the foot-wells. ie. it's luxury where it counts, and if you don't expect more than that, then all is well. Is it loaded with quality of life features? Yes, in this trim level. Tiltable/powered sun/moon roof, powered rear hatch, a sound system with crisp and clear sound quality reproduction that's capable of making your face vibrate with distortion free intensity. Parking assist, blind-spot monitoring, a clear reverse camera, lane keep warning/assist, frontal collision warning/auto-braking assist, 360 degree split-screen camera views, power ports front and rear, internal lighting everywhere, navigation and a fully featured infotainment system. It's all here. It may be missing a few of the very latest whizzbang sub-options (eg. no in-dash blind-spot camera view on lane-changes, physical dials instead of a fully digital configurable dash screen), but even if it doesn't have the absolute latest version of whatever feature, it will still offer a basic form of said feature. Is it a practical daily driver? Yes, amazingly so. With the 4 doors you can stick it in comfort drive mode and you're used to the throttle response, it'll perform family/commute duties all day, every day, in high comfort. We traded in our old Camry LE for this, and the Stinger is just as capable of the daily family runabout chores as the Camry was, just in better comfort. Can it carry much stuff? Can it or what?! Fold down the rear seats, and it's almost as roomy as a small pick-up truck with covered rear. I used a throw-down sheet to protect the upholstery, but I parked next to a guy in a pickup truck at Lowes, and it so happened that we were both buying stuff for flooring projects. I was able to fit underlay, the boards, tools, trim, the whole works for a 200sq.ft project in the one trip. The guy loading up next to me was pretty much the same thing, and the back of his pickup truck looked almost as full as my Stinger. Later I picked up a 55 gal aquarium for the wife with a flat pack cabinet. No problem. It still had plenty of room left over. This car truly is a jack of all trades, but a master of the one thing that matters most in a one-car family garage, versatility....and that's what this car is, a highly comfortable mile-eating sporty grand-tourer with a capital V on Versatile. Love it!

Awesome Beast!
The Kia Stinger GT with its 3.3 liter engine makes 376 lb feet of power. I've had admiring looks everywhere I go! Comfortable seating, lots of power, spacious rear storage and thousands cheaper than Audi S5 and BMW. It nor only best these competitors in power it excels in value. I had no intention of buying a Kia when I started looking. I was looking into BMW 5 and Audi A6. The Kia was as fun to drive and the interior caught me off guard with how nice it was. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and saved money in the process. Win-win

Car rocks!! AWD, Fast, all the creature comforts, better warranty, great looking! Who gives a hoot it doesn’t have a German label? Cheaper to maintain, insure, and to buy. I like jeans with no designer labels. They wear & look better and last longer. See ya in the rear view mirror!

best car I have ever owned
I spent a lot of time looking for a replacement car for my 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8. I was looking at Audi, BMW, Mercedes, The new Mid engine corvette was a strong front runner. While on a road trip to Arizona I saw two Kia stingers. When I got home, I researched the vehicle. I read nothing but praises for the stinger. I watched every U Tube video that I could find. In all but one video the reviewers said WOW, or had huge grins on acceleration. I ordered a Blue GT 1, with a sun roof, upgraded stereo system and a few other options through a broker, he got several thousand dollars off of the sticker price. Upon first looks, WOW. On the interior layout, and quality WOW. On first drive WOW. I did not race the the motor, or heavy break for the first 600 miles. Initial driving, was with great caution. The car is smooth, accelerates effortlessly and the steering is crisp, and accurate. This is the best car I have ever owned. I am pleased with my choice. I do get a lot of positive comments in the parking lots, and thumbs up from other drivers. We Took it on a road trip recently, and got 29 mpg on the fuel trip computer, and verified with calculating milage, divided by gallons purchased. Post break in period, the car is an animal. Dusted Mustangs, Infinities, BMW's, and a few other vehicles at a much higher price point. You will not be disapointed if you buy this car.

Beautiful but dangerous! Dangerously beautiful?
I recently purchased a 2020 GT-line; I actually had a 2018 GT1 when it first came out, but the extra power was fun but not practical and I didn't like spending so much on gas and insurance. The GT-Line is perfect-it has the looks of the GT but doesn't have the screaming engine. The base engine is plenty peppy. And I'm not missing anything really from the GT regarding the interior, except for the ambient lighting at night. One thing remains, though-this car gets attention. People will hover around it in traffic, be it on side streets or on the highway, to get a better look at it. I think it's dangerous because these cars hover in my blind spot or are in my way when I'm trying to maneuver. Also, you need to make sure people wear their masks and keep their social distance when they come up to you in the parking lot to ask you questions or comment about the car. Overall, it drives perfect (I also have AWD), looks good, and the Harmon Kardon stereo (I got the Sun and Sound package) rivals the Bang and Olufsen stereo I had in my Audi from a few years ago-simply awesome. This is such a honey of a car.

Senior Old Fart Sports car.
Being in the early 70's was looking for a sedan that is comfortable with enough room to fit a wheel chair in and does not look like every other medium sedan or small suv and does not break the bank. I researched everything from the Sonata, Camry, Accord to name a few. The Stinger caught my eye with the specs of cargo space that we really needed to fit a wheelchair in comfortably as well as having enough left over room to shop a big box store by folding the rear seats down. The ride, looks and power to get up and go is wonderful, let alone the price compared to a BMW or Audi. Do not ignore the great warranty you get. FYI I purchased this car sight unseen on the internet and could not be more pleased.

Amazing Car! You should buy one!
I've had the '20 Stinger GT-2 in ceramic silver for about 7 months now. Can't say enough about the car. Exterior styling is a total head turner -- I can't count how many times I've been stopped by people to tell me how beautiful the car is (it's a little strange how often it happens). Overall, the interior is very nice, the finishes are nice, but I wouldn't call luxury, maybe entry level luxury. The seats are excellent -- firm and comfortable and the headrest is the best headrest ever (I'm 5'9" 160 lbs). The stock stereo system is amazing -- I love cruising while listening to the awesome sounds! Lots of tech that I don't feel like listing... The car is pretty fast and super fun to drive(that 365hp V-6 Twin Turbo). Oh yeah, the car is a hatchback plus the back seats fold down, so there's actually a lot of good storage space(even without folding the seats down). I've had no problems and If I do, it comes with the best warranty in the industry. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Stinger! Go get you a Kia Stinger GT!!!

Awesome Stylish Car
I love the looks, it's super fast, comfortable, very unique and turns a lot of heads. Definitely better than some of the competitors as far as performance. However, for a $43000 car, no Navigation or sunroof, premium sound is a little turn off. Audi, BMW, Mercedes have those options for the same price. Again it is a very nice looking car but lacks of some luxury for the money. KIA.... I love the Stinger just add some standard gadgets to make it more attractive to the consumer.

Amazing unique car
This car is so eye-catching, I can’t help but stare at it sitting in my garage. It has lots of comfort and performance. Build quality could be better. Cheap plastics are used in many places, but overall the cabin feels sturdy. The entire car changes as soon as you put it in sports mode. I have the 2022, so the car gets louder and a lot more peppy in sports mode. Comfort makes the car drive amazing and comfortably. All around this is the perfect practical sports sedan that is amazing for someone that wants practicality and fun.

I love this freaking CAR
If your looking for a gas saving family car stop now because this is not the car for you. This car is for the crowd that does not car about gas mileage. If you want to go for a long cruise this car has the comforts and when you want to put the power down it goes and I mean it goes. I personally own a base GT and I love it thought about getting a GT1 but I didn't want to pay 7k more for the 15 speaker sound system, but the 9 speaker is just fine. Also this is my second Kia product and you can't beat their Warranty. I'm a 6'3 250lbs and I can sit behind myself in this car. The only thing that's awkward is trying to get out the vehicle without putting creases in the leather seats.

Best performance for the money!
Unbelievable that this much car, with this much practicality is in a Kia! People are sleeping on this sedan JUST because its a Kia! I've looked at comparable Mercedes and BMW. This car has shattered, by performance and value the others. Not even the staunchest car enthusiasts would be disappointed in this beauty of everyday driving. Check it out, its amazing. (Twin turbo G2 line) You won't be disappointed on bit, you'll start looking at Kia as a viable option in performance cars over the other well known luxury brands. Test drive one, get one, enjoy the drive.

Exceeds expectations
Never thought I’d be a Kia owner. It forced me to reckon with badge snobbery. Awesome power, great fit and finishes, interior room, and hatch back. My only critique would be to have a bigger gas tank. This car beat out this list: Camry, Avalon, Altima, maxima, es350, gs350, q50, bmw 4 grand coup, s5/a5. Happy shopping y’all! I’m sure you’ll find a car you love too

Good Looks ... Bad Quality
I like the styling. The HP is nice and it does move. However, up to the Kia brand standards. The quality of the build is not there. Cruise control has a "jerky" sensation. It is NOT the cruise radar as I have had it in to review a few times. Kia engineers state this is " normal" Rear hatch rattles. Sunroof rattles. There was a loose bolt found in the passenger side rear door as there was a nasty rattle coming from the panel. There is a "chirping" sound everytime I turn off the vehicle. Kia engineers state this is normal. It is the throttle body scraping the intake as it turns off. Again styling is good. The car does look good. But beauty is only skin deep. Under everything it is a KIA. And Kia has had quality issues. I am stuck with the car for a good year or two until I can remove some of the negative equity. Kia does NOT hold it's value. Will not ever purchase a Kia product again.

Peppy & Fun Ride
Can get over 20 mpg if babied in Eco mode... But what is the fun in that, throw it in Sport Mode and have some fun. Would have liked remote start standard in this trim level since it is 2020 and spending that much on a car, looks like you can get that feature from their app, for a $300 dollar yearly fee...

Gutsy
After many hours of research into purchasing a 4 door AWD sport sedan , it became evident that KIA has alot to offer. The German sedans have Ruled for decades in this category and we still love them , but they also still ride their higher pricing on the German engineering quality that has always been there and still is. Today Korea is producing equal quality cars at lower cost ( how ? , I'm not quite sure ) Maybe lower labour costs. However they do it, doesn't matter to me As long as it costs me less for equal quality Loving my new ride !

Still A Great Car
Love the car, but the Dealer Experience is still lousy!!!!!!!!! Kia wants you to believe it's moving upmarket-------- but the dealer experience is sorely wanting and hasn't changed . Dealing with Kia over warrantee repairs is a real pain they're plodding watching every nickel instead of treating the customer right. It's a shame--- the Stinger is a great car. The only real problem I have had with the car is an inability to use my Google Pixel 7 phone with Android Auto. KIA claims its a problem with my phone which makes no sense as Google would insure compatibility with their own Android Products. Also the UBS A port doesn't always work. KIA has replaced the port, wiring harness and stereo under warrantee and it still doesn't work. Their attitude is bad and they have washed their hands with my problem. I can't find another car for the money that does what the Stinger does performance and comfort wise. Too bad it's been discontinued, used Stingers are very desirable!!!!!

Biggest regret of all my purchases, ever
First off, I love the way the car looks. That's where it ends. I thought buying the peppy 2.0t would keep me happy, but coming from a 500+ hp V8, I was very wrong. I have given it a chance, and even used a tuner to squeeze out another 60hp, and it's still a slug. The turbo lag is atrocious. The low end is non-existent. It handles like a big V8 (same weight as my Challenger, or close), which is a shame. The transmission is really good, I will say that much. The interior is pretty good, though some things are further away from the driver's reach than they should be. Rear visibility is non-existent. Rear legroom is adequate if you have younger kids in the back, but not for adults. No remote start without buying the OEM part that comes on literally every other country's version of the Stinger is a big disappointment. If I wasn't upside down, I would immediately trade it in. It is sucking the life out of me.

KIA STINGER GT line 2020
Negative sides: 1. Auto hold problem!!! engine does not turn on and i have to do everything to turn back on for 5 minutes. embarrassing! 2. horsepower is weak 3. no deeming mirror 4. no sidemirror defrost heat 5. not enough storage space in the front seat 6. acceleration response is slow like 2 sec. 6. No engine start button. Using Uvo requires lots of things. take out cellphone, turnon, find Uvo, login, password, find turnon button, and password again. Good thing: Trunk space is good. Don't buy this !!!!
Ugh!!
Within the first couple of day's, I experienced lights popping on the dashboard which has been a real turnoff. I guess this is what you should expect purchasing a used car.
Exceeded my expectations.
I had never driven a Kia Stinger prior to going shop for ping for one. But, I had read a lot of good reviews on that car. However, once I saw my car in person, and took it for a drive, I was immediately hooked. Love everything about it .
