2019 Kia Sorento- NEVER AGAIN
Was a previous Toyota owner for many years and decided to switch to Kia for warranty. Had the vehicle for 6 months, less than 10K miles and after 4 visits to the dealership, they finally acknowledged a new transmission was required. Move forward 40K miles and transmission problems once again. Going to trade it in for a reliable Toyota.
Mid Size SUV Value
Bought my 2019 EX new exactly 3 years ago, and must say it's been flawless so far. Not a single issue. Drivability, noise level, MPG, comfort and performance are among the best I've ever owned! Really a great overall value.

Hate the gas mileage AND NO CD PLAYER!!
This car is very luxurious, smooth riding and an easy car to get in & out of, this helps those of us over 70 years of age. However, the gas mileage stinks! We owned a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid before our Kia. My husband had an accident which totaled the car. So when we were shopping for a new vehicle, we liked the 2019 Sorento. It was lot easier to get in & out of for both of us. So that WAS the MAIN reason for purchasing the Sorento. We are disappointed that there was NO CD in our car. But we didn't realize it until after we leased it. We are currently getting 21 mpg. We were getting 38 to 43 mph with the Hyundai. So I guess you take the bad with the good.

Jerky and doesn’t shift into gear properly.
I loved the Sorento. I had two others and they drove amazing. Bought the 2019 and immediately knew something wasn’t right. At certain speeds the car is jerky and shakes. Called Kia and had them look at it 4 times. They said it was fine. Even filed a complaint with Kia and a regional called us for info but she never called us back. Kia treated us horribly and I will never buy another one. Customer service is horrible. We asked to test drive another one just to make sure it wasn’t just our car. They made us us wait over an hour at the dealer then told us they didn’t have one on the lot for us to drive. I have nothing good to say! A lot a money to get treated like crap.

Car
Nice looking vehicle on outside but interior lacked quality. Felt like inferior quality.

Not what was expected. To much hype on a vehicle that is just as equal to many others.

Hyway wind noice, inadequate insulation for cold
On hyway speed there is continuous whistling wind noice from back windows or panaromic sun roof. Extremely annoying. 2 different dealers can't fix this. Cold weather insulation is not adequate for Michigan cold weather. Can't download addresses thru Android auto app. Uvo parking location doesn't work. Remite start thru uvo not available. Disappointing. Rest is good.

Love my Kia!
So very comfortable!!
Oh! So! Nice!
I love my new Kia! The features, the leather seats, the gas mileage, and the spacing is everything!! The only minor complaint I have is that the sensors are extremely sensitive! And I do mean extremely.. It's a bit annoying but they say it's better to be safe than sorry so I guess I won't complain...

Replacement for my wife’s old Sedona minivan
My wife was not too happy with my choice of an AWD Sorento to replace her Sedona!!! No Mexico for us this winter and I feel more secure in western NY winter with an AWD. I think it gives us all the room we need at this stage of our life and she is ever so slowly coming around to that conclusion. A hard fight as both models are winners! Probably will end up with both!

Exceeds expectations
I've been really impressed with the way this car handles on the road. The third seat is great when you have an extra passenger, or two. I got the 6 cyl and I like knowing I have a little extra power.

A Great Ride!!!
I luved this 7 passenger SUV! GREAT looks, ride, & fuel economy (28 mpg). Although it was a base model, it had everything I needed. 2019 was a much better time to buy/lease a vehicle than 2022 is! Gonna miss that one! Titanium Silver Metallic with black interior!

Thumbs UP
Best maintenance free car I have ever had in 60+ years of car ownership
$700 spark plug change.
I own a 2019 Kia Sorento with a V6 engine. It costs $700 to change the spark plugs. Who is the idiot engineer that designed this SUV? Kia and Hyundai better correct this design flaw (not a flaw, just laziness) if they want me to continue buying their products, I am trading this one in.

Oil consumption problem
Kia Sorento 2019 is a good-looking and comfortable car. After driving for three years, it has had a lot of problems. The worst was oil consumption. I've visited the Kia dealer so many times to fix it but the problem is still the same. I've suffered a lot driving this vehicle. I never buy Kia again.

Horrible oil consumption & bad service
My car has had an oil consumption problem since July 2022. I've had to go back and forth to the dealer so many times to fix it but I still have the same problem. I don't mind how long they can fix it but I will have to move to Edmond in about two weeks and my car is not in good condition. Actually, Because of oil consumption my car has broken down twice in the middle of the road and this really scared me. I have suffered a lot driving this vehicle. Please, I need your help. Mar 04, 2022 North shore Kia gave me a free oil change. -July 05, 2022: Engine light on while on the road, I stopped and checked the oil. No more oil, so I had to go to the nearest Mr.lube for an oil change. (I have free life time oil change with North shore Kia) -About one week later, I brought my car to the dealer for oil inspection. The dealer did not find oil leak so they asked me to bring the car back to top up the oil every 1600km, four times. -A few weeks after the third time, I found an oil leak and brought the car to the dealer for repair. I took the car home and waited for an oil span. -Jan 11, 23 the dealer replaced an oil span, and restart another 1600km coming back process again. -Mar 17, 23 Because of oil consumption, the car broke down and I had to call Kia roadside assistant to tow my car to the dealer for repair. -Mar 19, 23, I took a bus to the dealer to pick up the car. -May 02, 23, check engine light is on again. The car had no power and shook a lot. The dealer kept my car and gave me a loaner car. -May 10, 23, I went to the dealer to pick up the car. They asked me to come back 1600km again (fifth times) and told me the problem may come back again. Even thought, I’ve told them that I have to move to Edmonton soon. How can I drive to Edmonton while my car is in such condition? I’ve given North shore Kia a lot of time to repair. It was almost one year, I’ve suffered a lot and I cannot wait any longer. If KIA cannot fix my car, KIA has to give me money back.

Interior and exterior is very high quality. drives very well, the six cylinder has good power, highway gas milage is good but around town could be better. We have not had any problems since buying it new. Would defiantly purchase another Kia.

Great SUV, but repairs can be pricey
I bought this used with 21,000 miles on it. I have never had any issues with the Sorento, but I do make sure the oil is changed out every 5,000 to 6,000 miles. At 95,000 miles now and I am having the shocks and struts replaced. There was a bit of a price shock to have the shocks and struts replaced. At the dealer the total cost is around $3,200 dollars. The car is paid off so hopefully I can get another 100,000 miles out of the car before buying another one. I'm not sure if I will go with a KIA again, but I have nothing bad to say about the car. Its been reliable and gets me where I need to go.
Curtis reveiw for my 2019 Kia Sorento
The ride is comfortable & it's a very nice to drive in town & on the highway.
