Have over 14k mileage without a problem. Get 50 mpg combination of city highway. Car handles well corners well. Love the technology with Android auto. Read up on 10 yr. 100k warranty it includes the lithium storage batteries. Think hybrid is way to go, not long stop to recharge. Eric from Lombard IL UPDATE: This is my 3rd. KIA no problems with any of them. AM retired and drive around the country exploring. A hybrid allows driving long distance and the convenience of quick fill ups. Has less than 11 gallon tank but goes 500 plus miles on a tank. Handles and corners well a bit stiff suspension. The brakes need improvement hope they stop in time with emergency stop. Storage batteries are warranted for 10 year 100k miles. Take one for a ride they have a lot of technology and nice looking interior.

Great gas mileage but lacks polish even on EX Prem

2021 Kia Niro EX Premium 4dr SUV (1.6L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid 6AM)

I love driving my EX Premium Kia Niro. It gets great MPG without even trying! But for a premium level trim it misses out. So many of the great features on the car are not retentive! You get in the car and you have to press all kinds of buttons to get it back to where it was before you turned it off. The Auto high beams work great... If you remember to turn on the feature. Auto-Hold, great feature, but once again you better remember to turn it on. The lane assist works great but sometimes on a curve it just drops out. The glossy front dash and metal trim all reflect the sun in your eyes. I love the vented seats. They stuck all the seat/steering wheel heating/ventilated buttons right near the cup holders. Better not slosh that Sweet tea or all your buttons will be gummed up! Stupid Kia, stupid. The center console has no power outlet and there are none in the back seat either (this is a premium trim)! Power up/down windows are reserved for only the two front windows, In my Sienna they are all power.. No power seat for the passenger. No seat back pocket on drivers seat. No spare tire. A repair kit and a compressor is what you get. The premium sound system ROCKs the house down! YES YOU WILL SAVE ON GAS, BUT THE CAR IS GOING TO COST YOU $10K MORE THEN A STRAIGHT GAS CAR. $10K BUYS A WHOLE LOT OF GAS. YES I WILL LIKELY KEEP IT. Its a cute little car. Just what I need for retirement.

This car has a lot of awesome gadgets, rides smooth and spacious. Will be saving a lot on gas. I commute to work and back so this will definitely help out.👍🙌

Climate control can die

This car gets 543 Mpg and I've had it for 3 years now. But I no longer trust Kia. After 80k miles the tech in the car has begun to act weird; the windows, the touch screen, and THE CLIMATE CONTROL!!! omfg the light to indicate its on is never own and the climate control turns on by itself! I went to get it fix and its no longer covered after 60k miles. No kia isn't going to pay for it. Im sick and done with kia. other than that I've taken this car off-road, from California to new york and back. Its a good car other than that but its annoying
