Don't buy a Niro!
I had to have my 2021 Kia Niro LS towed from Sutherlin, OR to Eugene, Or yesterday. I had the same problem with my 2018 Niro. One of the warning lights comes on. The error code says it is a camshaft problem. Well, I was on the freeway and it started missing so I pulled off and into a garage. They told me the error number. There's no dealership in Sutherlin so used the Kia Roadside Assistance to call for a tow. When they were repairing my 2018 Niro, it took them TWO AND A HALF MONTHS to "fix it." They did provide a nice rental car for all that time. But the dealership and where I live are an hour and a quarter away from each other, Now it's happened again with the 2021 Niro and it's back to the same dealership and I can't say the attitude and responsiveness of this dealership is very good. This happened on a Tuesday and he said they would get it diagnosed by the "end of the week." Well, in the meantime I had to get a friend from Grants Pass to pick me up in Sutherlin, drive me home to Florence and then drive back to Grants Pass. There were no rental cars available anywhere near me, but the dealership wouldn't authorize one anyway b/c they had not analyzed the problem with my car yet. So I'm now stuck in Florence with no transportation whatsoever, no family, no friends to haul me around and no way to get to Eugene even if they say I can have a rental from there. This is a MESS! I will not buy another Niro. I also had a 2013 Kia Soul and must say it never had any problems. Wish I still had it. I think I might try a Ford Escape next time. BTW, I'm a senior citizen, 74 years old, female and drive like a little ol' lady. My 2021 Niro has less than 2000 miles on it. I'm not sure who to go to in order to get some recourse for this.

best hybrid for our money
12k miles and a year of ownership; excellent value for the money and crazy 46-54 MPG [depending on temperature] with plenty of room inside with comfort/safety features. seats are comfortable for long haul and Harmon system is rocking and the android auto is quick to respond. both interior and exterior are holding up good and the new car smell is still present even after a year. the surface and buttons still looks new and ride has soften a little as it settled over 12k miles of driving.

Silky Silver NIRO
If you are an experienced HYBRID vehicle driver, you will love how this vehicle drives, brakes, turnd in small spaces, gives great money saving gas mpg (40+), and a great driving range of 500+ miles per tank when you gas up! Love it's sporty look. However, if you don't like the hybrid-style driving that builds and keeps the high mpg, stay away!! Just buy a big beautiful gas-guzzling SUV!
