Infotainment extreme
Ride and quietness are outstanding. Info screens are unbelievably complete, but not as intuitive as I would like - takes some time to understand.

2024 Kia K5 issue.
I bought a brand new 2024 Kia K5 Gt the day after Christmas. In less than a month and a half with 880 miles alle the light went on and there was no power. Not sure what happened. I turned it off then back on, power was back but check engine light satyed on. Took to dealership and they told me make an appointment. I did but in the days following the car reset and light went off. It did it again about 2 weeks later and again before I could go in check engine light went off. Dealer said take it in as soon as it cone on next time. Been sitting here for 2 hours while they tinker with the car and no idea what it is.

My new K5
Have owned this car for three weeks - 700 miles. It is a nice solid riding car and handles nicely. Lots of extras on this model, the G-Line. An excellent value. My only real complaint is excessive road noise on some road surfaces. We live on a gravel road and there is lots of noise inside the car and the same if the paved roads are not glassy smooth. Very little wind noise. If the pavement is smooth this K5 is pleasant to drive. (I replaced the stock 18” wheels and Pirelli P-Zero tires with aftermarket 16” alloy wheels and Cooper Endeavor tires saving 12 lbs of unsprung weight for each set and ride improved and the noise reduced somewhat).

Don't let the looks fool you!
We own a 25' Kia K5 GT-LINE and it's one of the most uncomfortable vehicles I've ever been in! The seats are not supportive and your butt will be aching after being in those seats for more than 1hour! The vents on the dash are too low and the driver side vent is blocked by the steering wheel. The touch screen is confusing and not user friendly. The gas pedal functions are laggy and is anchored to the floor which makes using it odd. This car has 700 miles on and we haven't even made our 1st payment but I'm already making plans to get rid of it ASAP. Car has a lot of shinny hard plastics in it. Cup holders are about useless except for a 12oz can. I thought we'd give KIA a chance but being totally unhappy with this car we won't be coming back to them.
