Used 2005 Kia Amanti 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
I like it!
The car handles well and rides well, comfortable to drive, and the controls are easily within reach. Gas mileage could be better. Nice little buggy for the money, I like mine!
Eye Pleasing Performer
I love the look and the feel, but not the gas mileage. It could use a little more horses under the hood just to match its competitors.

The Best Surprise
My wife and started looking for cars at the end of 2004. We looked at the Avalon, LeSabre, Marquis and Chrysler 300. The KIA Amanti was in the same showroom as the 300 and we fell in love with the car and the price was the best surprise. We got EVERY extra the car comes with and they added a $3,000 rebate to boot. This is the most incredibly luxurious car for $23,500 that we ever saw. I can't say enough good things about it. Would but another in a heartbeat.
Affordable Luxury on Wheels
The Amanti is a head turner. I receive stares and comments quite often, and it gives me the feeling of driving a very expensive luxury sedan.
A great ride
If you are looking for a car that will be mistaken for a Mercedes. a Lincoln, a Jaguar, or a Lexus, this is it.
CHUCK'S REVIEW
I have been surprised with the reaction that I get from my friends about the Kia Amanti. They all are impressed with the styling and comfort of the car, not to mention how quite it runs. They just can't believe that it is a Kia ! We also have a hatchback Spectra that I bought for my daughter. She loves it.
Amanti
I've been driving Kia cars since 1994 when I bought a Ford Aspire, built by Kia. Then a '97 Sephia which has given and still gives excellent service, but now requires a muffler and timing belt replacement. Also have a 2002 Rio which is 3 years old and has given perfect service with NO problems. Have also used extensively a 2002 Optima which is a wonderful car. The Amanti should be just as good with a lot more luxury.
Kia Amanti a Great Car
We had purchased a 2003 Kia van, enjoyed it and watched the reviews on the coming Amanti. We drove it, liked it and bought it. We have enjoyed the car. People stop use on a regular basis to ask what it is. It handles very well. No mechanical problems. The ride is great both in front and rear seats. It has nice features, phone plug ins in back and front. Heated seats, temperature control for passengers. Great car!
Smooth riding interstate cruiser
We purchased our Amanti in November 2004, and have enjoyed every mile in it so far. The initial build quality has been excellent, with no initial problems whatsoever. The interior of the car is well thought out, and the power seat controls mounted high on the driver and passenger doors is a real plus. This is principally my wife's car (she picked it out after test driving all of the competitor offerings). After she took me to the Kia dealer for my own test drive I was hooked. The amount of vehicle you get for what you pay is absolutely remarkable. It may not have a "prestige" name plate, but the ride is great and we still have thousands of dollars in our bank account.
I love my Kia
I've only owned my Kia for a few weeks, and don't have a lot of miles on it yet but I thoroughly love it. It looks as good as a car costing $35,000.00 or more, and drives like you would expect a very expensive car to drive. It has all the bells and whistles and I see heads turn as I drive down the road, and I know it's not me they're looking at (I'm 72!).
