After 3 other jeeps, my fourth will be my last of the newer jeeps, I traded up from a 98 to this 05, and cant get over how bad the gas mileage is, i have had all 4 cylinder jeeps and only regretted not having power, now i wish i had the mileage! Alot of Rattles in these, to many plastic pieces and clips, water leaks at body seams, and way to small. Basically if you want something fun, with for wheel drive and endless supply of aftermarket parts buy this! If you want comfort, and gas mileage this is not for you!

I LOVE MY JEEP

the only thing I wish I could improve on my Jeep is the fuel economy. It's a little on the bad side. I usually get about 320 miles per a full tank, unless I push the RPM's above 3000. It's great in the snow, off road, backroads, highways. My kids love the jeep when we go to the beach and drop the top. The seats and interior are comfortable, and in the CT winter with a soft top the heaters works just fine. I LOVE MY JEEP!

This Is the best car i ever owned. It is a lot of fun to drive, and it is so reliable. Nice 6 cylinder engine gets up to speed fast, amazing off roading.

My 2nd Jeep Wrangler (1st choice!)

Again, this is not a family friendly, take the infants, grandparents to lunch on Sunday rig. It's a Jeep- not a mini-van. Its purpose is to plow through snow, dirt, mud or climb the back hills. My wrangler pulls a small trailer very well, or strap my dirt bike on the receiver hitch. The 200hp IL6 runs strong, has never failed me. The 6 spd., 4 wheel discs, Dana 44 axles get the job done. My Ruby came with 2 tops, I run hard top almost exclusively. Once the ac quit. I YouTube'd it & fixed it myself in 5 minutes. My Ruby has 51,000 since I bought new in 2005. I keep it in the garage most of the time, its flawless. I keep it that way as I never let my kids drive it. Lol. My experiences are ++++++++. I've owned this Ruby longer than any other vehicle. Previously, I owned a 2001 Jeep Wrangler sport IL4. No power but bulletproof. I just sold it for $5,800 with just over 100,000 mi. Hard to beat the resale of a Jeep! I would not sell my 2005 Ruby for less than $15,000! Btw, its NOT for sale! It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand!!

Wrangled X

I bought my 2005 wrangled x, since I bought it I replaced the valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket. It was leaking when I bought it. Just something I wanted to fix myself. I love my jeep as my whole family does. It's not made for long trips, I enjoy it on my days off. I feel they are pretty reliable if the owners took good care of them. The acceleration is good for me, it goes plenty fast for me. To me braking is good, I love the manual 6 speed, it doesn't take long to learn to shift smooth. Gas mileage of course is 15 in the city.
