Used 2015 Jeep Renegade Latitude 4dr SUV 4WD (1.4L 4cyl Turbo 6M) Consumer Reviews
9 speed transmission
I loved this Jeep when I first bought it ,was perfect size for me the mileage was fantastic, I got compliments on it ,the inside was perfect for me. And then there's the transmission. When I first bought it I took it back to the dealership and ask him why it kept jerking all over the place when I took off from a stop sign. They explained to me it had a 9-speed transmission. I don't know how anyone else is Jeep works, but when I start off from a stop sign or a red light it completely jerks while it's going into the next speed .I'd say from 0 to 35 your jerked around at least four times trying to go through all those speeds , besides how cute it is and how economical it is,I'll put up with it... however it does not jerk around like that on the freeway, trying to get gas nozzle into the tank is a pain in the hind end, but I'll deal with it it's too cute is too economical and I love the Bluetooth phone pairing devices...yes..you can baa haa in this😋

2015 renegade latitude
I bought a used 2015 jeep renegade latitude to commute to and from work. I had it for a year and about seven month ( from 55,000 miles to 65,000). I was in the shop for electrical issues. It was automatic but sometime the gears would have a hard thump between 2nd and 3rd gear when accelerating or slowing down. Some days it didn’t have it. Woke up one day and started hearing a weird noise and decided to give up. Didn’t feel like dealing with some other repair so I traded it in. It’s sad because I really liked it. It’s roomy, sporty, and the features were great.

2015 renegade 160k miles 6sp manual.
Bought in September of 2015 with 11 miles on it. Around 30k the dash graphic inverted. Black letters on white background and harder to read. Around 70k the serpentine belt broke. An accident hitting a large coyote on the interstate put it in the shop for 28 days (entire front end including what holds the radiator is plastic) *replaced broken driving light with non OEM and have intermittent error about parking light out but it's working)second serpentine belt went bad around 150k. BCM went out about 5k later. Currently no problems and still is full of oil after a 1600 mile road trip. Not that I know personally but I've heard you can't set the cruise control past 110mph. Update. Brakes and rotors finally changed after 168k miles. Those Mopar parts really lasted! Check engine light is on. Something about fuel pump or sensor. No notice on running or mileage so won't address it at this time.
jeep Renegade Piece of Junk
I bought a 2015 renegade 1 month ago.Been in the shop most of the time. Drove home from dealer and engine light came on before I made it in my driveway Tuesday vehicle wouldnt start. Key was stuck in ignition. Could not even tow the vehicle because it was stuck in park. Finally got the key out of ignition thursday and towed to shop. Today is Friday and guess what? the key is stuck in ignition and park. They said they cant look at it till Monday. What a nightmare
