New jeep owner very satisfied
I have only owned this vehicle for a few days but to tell you the truth I absolutely love this jeep. This is not my first jeep and I have never had any serious issues, I don't believe I will either. The new jeep liberty feels very good with on road manners to brag about. I feel a lot of these reviews are based off other vehicles and compared to my 500hp turbo diesel this truck is a dream. It is very smooth and the seats are so comfortable. I feel the interior is made pretty well considering its not a 50,000 dollar suv. It is a little noisy but then again it's really quiet compared to my old truck. I feel that I got what I paid for and don't think I would have been as happy with anything else

Pitiful excuse for an SUV
Stay very far away from this horrid vehicle. I know this is a body on frame vehicle and isn't supposed to ride like a Bentley. With that in mind, the ride of the Jeep Liberty is horrible. Every little bump in the road is felt and big bumps toss it all over the road. Again, I know this isn't a handling-focused vehicle, but the handling is downright dangerous. My wife has the Jet edition which has the 20" wheels and it makes the ride even worse. The motor absolutely hates to rev past 2500 rpm. The transmission had to be entirely replaced before 100k miles even though it was very well maintained and not driven hard at all. The infotainment system also had to be entirely replaced before 100k miles. The motor is surprisingly reliable but that doesn't make it a good. I have never driven a vehicle that hates accelerating more than the KK Liberty. Its hilarious that Jeep approved this vehicle for production. MPG is bad but that would be forgivable if the rest of the vehicle was good. Oh, the driver seat also had to be reupholstered before 100k miles. Pitiful. Stay far away from this hunk of trash.

Love this car. Hate the Rust.
I purchased my 2011 Jeep liberty Renegade last march. I was completely in love with it. In the summer I get about 20MPG and in the winter I get 16-17MPG Hands down the best winter vehicle I have ever owned. It is the perfect small SUV. I took it on a 24 hour road trip. With five passangers luggage space was a little tight, but the ride was comfortable. I Took it off roading in the big horn mountains, and had full expectations of getting stuck or breaking something if not everything. Much to my surprise it stood true to the name jeep, and afterwards I drove that car 14 hours home with out a stitch wrong. There are a few little kinks that were annoying. Despite the fact that it is a V6 it has NO POWER. Also if you sit in the back the doors are drafty. Despite my love for this vehicle I am currently seeking a new car. I have had this car for roughly a year. In that amount of time My oil pan rusted out, my gate is rusted shut, and my doors are rusting on the inside. I am incredibly frusterated a 7 year old vehicle with under 100k miles should not be rusting that fast. Its not cosmetic things that are rusting its the undercarriage. This is coming from somebody who washes their vehicle once a week at the truck wash, wipes it down with a cloth after, and hand waxes once a month. There is absolutely no reason it should be rusting like this. One last thing is it sucks to work on!! It took myself and 2 mechanics 12 hours to replace the oil pan due to its placment.

Towed 3 times in 6 months!
I have the 2010 Jeep Liberty Sport with the full slider window. It's a gorgeous vehicle however I have had to have it towed 3 times in 6 months for various things involving the "on board computer". I now don't want to drive it anywhere for fear it won't start! Each time the dealer has told me that what goes wrong "can't be fixed in the field" so it had to be towed. I'm ready to turn it in! :(
