Used 2004 Jeep Liberty Consumer Reviews
I'll Never Have a "Car" Again!
I never thought I'd be driving an SUV, but I LOVE this truck! I've always had cars but saw this in the show room, loved it's ride, and had to get it. The inside is total luxury while the outside is still that rough and tough Jeep with some sleekness to it. I just got her and had the opportunity to take her out in the first snow yesterday. It was like driving on dry pavement! I highly recommend this vehicle!
Complete and total adoration
I absolutley LOVE this vehicle. The Jeep Liberty is the only vehicle I have ever owned that has as smooth a ride on road as off.The interior is spacious enough that five people can be seated comfortably, and still have plenty of space for your cargo. The Liberty is so wonderful, after taking a ride in mine three of my friends went out and purchased one of their own.

Not even a 4X4 er.
Having purchased my Jeep in Feb I have not been able to drive it as much as I would have liked to. Great styling, solid ride, sound system good with upgraded speakers. Interior could be a little nicer but okay for my needs. In-town gas mileage about 19. Have not taken it on the road yet. Moon roof helps to cool vehicle but has some road noise. Vent position is good on hot sunny days to help keep interior bareable. (AZ) All in all with cash rebates and 0% financing I couldn't go wrong. Nice vehicle.
Good Family Truckster
We bought this vehicle with 22k miles on it about 3 years ago. It now has 75k miles on it. We have had basically no problems with this vehicle, and the engine seems bulletproof, which is pleasantly surprising to me. The 4WD is incredible in the New England winters, and the 3.7L straight 6 is quite peppy (but loud). We have taken this on a few long road trips and it's not too comfortable for extended periods of time. The seats are hard and offer no lumbar or lateral support, and also no adjustable head rest. The radio and HVAC controls are large, easy to use, and located right where you want them. MPG is tolerable if you are easy on the gas.
Liberty, Great idea!
We wanted a reliable 4x4 that could take us ANYWHERE on the Big Island, accommadate everything and look tough in doing so. Having a brother do all the research was just a bonus. Gas mileage leaves something to be desired, getting only 15mpg, however it is a V6 and we live on a mountain so...The toughest decision at this point is whether to have the windows tinted silver or black. Have considered getting another Liberty but think a Wrangler will be in order instead.
