Zero Stars
As far as reliability, I give it 0 stars. It’s a very beautiful truck. Great look, amazing sound. It’s fast and it’s a badass vehicle however it’s very expensive to fix I had a Jeep SRT from hell. Constantly overheating, after spending over $10,000 in repairs I had to finally throw in the towel and say my goodbyes.. if you’re thinking about getting a Jeep SRT I recommend getting one BRAND NEW never used. You never know what these cars have been through.

So Far, So Good.
I've only had the vehicle over the past weekend, so why even write a review? Well, because it's a 2012 with 147,250 miles on it and it rides and drives like new. That says something to me. A week ago I knew nothing about Grand Cherokees, except that that the introduction of the 3.6L Pentistar engines in 2010 had been a game changer. Now I know It's 38% more powerful, consumes 11% less fuel, and is 42 lbs lighter than its 3.5-liter predecessor. Engineers also eliminated the brackets that the accessories (alternator, ac compressor, powers steering pump, etc.) are traditionally mounted to the engine with, and bolted the accessories directly to the engine block, drastically reducing noise and vibrations. It the best selling SUV in America and the most awarded SUV in history. I found a generously appointed Laredo (base model) 4X4, and knowing nothing about the progression of the trim levels, assumed it must be fairly high-end. I discover a pretty neat hack. I went to the MOPAR website, registered for an account and it allowed me to pull up the original window sticker. While the Laredo is the base model (Base Price: $28,995) mine includes the "Customer Preferred Package 26X" and the "Laredo E Group" option package, bringing the original price up to $37,200 OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats Heated Front Seats Driver / Passenger Power 4-Way Lumbar Adjust Power 8-Way Driver and Front Passenger Seats Customer Preferred Package 26X $5,300 Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats Heated Front Seats Driver / Passenger Power 4-Way Lumbar Adjust Power 8-Way Driver and Front Passenger Seats 18-Inch x 8.0-Inch Aluminum Painted Wheels Remote Start (standard on Laredo X) 6.5-Inch Touch-Screen Display Media Center 430 CD/DVD/MP3/HDD 40 GB Hard Drive with 28 GB Available Uconnect® Voice Command with Bluetooth® ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera Air Cond w/ Dual Zone Auto Temp Ctrl and Air Filter Security Alarm Tire Pressure Monitoring Display 9 Premium (Alpine) Speakers with 506-Watt Amp and Subwoofer USB Port for Mobile Devices Audio Jack Input for Mobile Devices 115-Volt Auxiliary Power Outlet P265/60R18 BSW All Season On/Off-Road Tires Leather-Wrapped Shift Knob Cargo Compartment Cover Universal Garage Door Opener Laredo E Group $2,000 Keyless Enter-N-Go SiriusXM Satellite Radio w/ 1-Yr Radio Subscription Bright Side Roof Rails Flex Fuel Vehicle Seems like a steal for $13,500, right?

My First Jeep - My Last Jeep
I own a $47,000 Cherokee Overland & found through a minor issue that Jeep customer care has protocals they follow regardless of cost or inconvience inflicted on the customer. This is the 1st Jeep product I ever owned and will be the last. Jeep sent me a software and map upgrade complimentry to me. Trying to install the map upgrade I found the vehicle vin number is not loaded in the nav system, thus it will not load the map upgrade. No dealer in Chicago has heard of this nor knows what to do to fix it. Jeep customer cares resolution is to bring the car to a dealer and experiment trying to fix it. No idea what may happen, how long it takes and no loaner read page 4 of the owner manual!
