Used 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 9A) Consumer Reviews
Good car. Transmission issues are true though
Good car and good on gas. It’s been mechanically reliable and never left me stranded but between that and ride comfort that’s where all I can be is frustrated with how it shifts at low speeds especially in cold weather. Tons of slack as soon as I put the car in drive or reverse and rocks excessively in park. I recommend just hitting the parking brake when you park it. The screen also went out and is functional but has no display after 60k miles. I’m now at 110k and it runs fine but has had the same issues since almost new. Highway driving it’s a great car and all of the comforts are great. All I can say is transmission transmission transmission. You would think there would be a fix as early as this happens with these cars.

Surprised at the longevity
We purchased our new 2015 Jeep Cherokee Lattitude 2.5L Front wheel drive in March 2015. It currently has 170,100 miles on it, and my wife and daughter just returned in after a 1,000 mile trip. We have been meticulous with the maintenace. I had reservations about the then new 9 speed automatic transmission, but it has proven to be reliable; and while there is no factory requirement for transmission service, I had our local mechanic replace the transmission fluid (and filter, I think) at 120,000 miles. We had some recalls, with the grill shutter being a particular pain in the ass. It has been mechanically reliable, and it still looks good. I would like to semi-retire it, but for the moment, it is a companion to our 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid - our primary vehicle.

Jammin' Jeep
I always wanted a Jeep and was so psyched when I got one. Drives like a dream. Controls in the steering wheel are fabulous! Nice size for my small frame. We now have seven little's so a vehicle with 3rd row seating is a must.
