Used 2015 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 9A) Consumer Reviews
Jeep Cherokee Sport with Heating Package is a Bust
Hello. I wanted to let you know that I am very disappointed in the Jeep Cherokee that I purchased less than one year ago. You see, the "Jeep" name has always had a special place in my heart, and this purchase was not only my first brand new car purchase, but also my first Jeep vehicle purchase. It was a very special experience and time for me, but I want to tell you that the 2015 Jeep Cherokee is the biggest disappointment ever, and here are the reasons why: 1. It was terrible in the snow last year. I purchased this the day after Thanksgiving (2014), and the car handled very poorly in the snow months of December - February. There was a time when I could not even drive the car up a hill that had not been plowed. Compared to my 2003 Honda Element, which was the car that this Jeep replaced, the snow handling is an epic fail. 2. The Heated Seats Options will either burn your butt off or you vaguely feel the heated seats. 3. The temperature controls are terrible. Again, you're either roasting in the car or you're freezing cold, but there is no happy medium. 4. The bluetooth option to my iPhone 6 Plus is intermitten. Sometimes it works instantly, sometimes, it will not sync up whatsoever, and is extremely tempermental. 5. Right after purchasing the car, less than 3,000 miles, there must have been something wrong with the transmission because each time I would shift the transmission to back up out of a parking space then switch to drive, it would "jolt" the car as if it you were being shaken. We brought the car back to have the transmission reprogrammed, and that issue isn't as big anymore. 6. The transmission when accelerating is very poor. Again, my Honda Element as a 4-cylinder engine, so I thought this Jeep's 4-cylinder engine would be okay/perform the same, but it doesn't. When I accelerate, there is a 20 second delay before the car will actually accelerate. 7. After it has rained outside and there is water on the car, don't even attempt to open your windows because water WILL come into your car. My Honda Element did not have the window protectors, but when the car was wet and I would make turns in the vehicle, water would not come into my car. This Jeep has water running in. All in all, I am very disappointed and unhappy with this car. If I could afford another car, I would get another one, and I no longer have such a "love" for the Jeep brand anymore after this experience.

Wish I kept my 1998 jeep cherokee
I have always had a love for Jeeps. My first Jeep, Pigeon was a 1998 Cherokee Inline 6. I loved that car to pieces, she did me good the 5 years I had her, however, I'm driving a further distance to work and school so I had to give her up sadly. Ended up buying a KIA Soul, traded that in after a year because I was scared for my life in that car. Here I thought I was getting a dream car because I always dreamed about owning a new Jeep... Then this car entered my life and I regret driving this off the lot. I don't have as many problems as other reviews, but it's a BRAND NEW CAR and shouldn't have to worry about "what if my warranty runs out and then all this happens". This Transmission is really sketch. I hate the way it jolts at random. The acceleration in this car is just as bad as the Kia Soul that I traded it in for. The AC and heater are terrible. I can never be at a comfortable temp. You're either freezing or burning up. The gas is terrible on this car. I feel like my 1998 did way better in gas. The Uconnect is a joke. It works when it wants to work. I literally have to turn off my car at times for it to sync. When it rains the tires spin and I'm not trying to jet off since it won't even do that if I tried. I'm very disappointed in Jeep. I was always proud to be a Jeep owner and now I'm kind of embarrassed. After seeing the crash videos on this car I hope I NEVER hit a pole or a wall because it seems this car like to burst up in flames. If I could get rid of this car I would. I want to take this car in and have everything checked but from the looks of it, Jeep doesn't really care. My love for Jeep has died. Whenever I get the chance I will get rid of this car. Unfortunately I have to wait many years before that happens. I better start saving now since my year is almost up in May. Do yourself a favor, don't get this car. I should have gone Import. I hate to say it but it's true.

jeep,jeep,jeeps.
Not one problem with our 2015 Cherokee just over two months and just over 2000 miles transmission shifts fine took it on vacation when it had 600 miles on it with no problems and over 29 miles per gal. I don't think that's to bad. Have had two Grand Cherokees the Cherokee is a bit smaller but it is very comfortable inside
Do NOT purchase any JEEP vehicles
My car is only two years old and I have had more fixes and issues than I did with my previous used vehicle but yet I purchased this one brand new. I gave this a very horrible review due to the fact that I do not feel safe while in my vehicle since I don't feel safe about even having my own family in my vehicle than why should anything else matter regarding the car. I had just returned home from a 2 hour drive when my transmission decided to go out for the second time. Thank goodness that I was on a surface street at the time and not still on the freeway. Imagine what could of happened to me and my whole family had it happened on the freeway. I am done with this company. I'm sure the dealership will be telling me it's an update that is needed when I just took my car in for an oil change 3 weeks ago.

Buyer Beware
Please consider not buying this vehicle. Everything you hear is true. Dropped my Tranny at 320 miles, this was a brand new vehicle. The radio quits for days on end, but I was told I'm putting the key in wrong lol Shifts up to 4,000 RPMS on its own all the time. The E Brake comes on just driving along, causing us to run off the road with my daughter! Shame, Shame, Shame on you JEEP I am not going to drive my foster kids around in a lemon of a crap car. I loved the look when I got it, but at 300 miles I was singing a different tune. I even tried to return it with no luck
