Used 2001 Isuzu VehiCROSS Consumer Reviews
vehicross
fun suv for the sports car oriented person. Handles very well. Certainly a looker with love-it or hate-it looks. Limited production makes it so you do not see yourself coming and going all around you. TOD handles very well in all weather, snow, rain, etc.
Awsome Ironman
My automotive experience up untill last year has been with sports cars. I purchased my Ironman after looking over all of the other Dodge and Ford, Honda, etc. suvs and I am in love with my car. I do not have a problem on rainy days. The tires have excellent grip. Do not have a problem on Ice or deep snow. Only had to put in in 4 low because the snow had fallen over night and burried most of my car. I have read other reviews where people down consider the ViaCross a true offroad car. The ViaCross feels comfortable while on the road, gravel, or well of the road. As far as Engine problems, I have had none. Just keep good care of it and it will keep good care of you.
VX Forever!
This is a wild, fun, and most interesting SUV; too kewl for school. I LOVE my VX! Outstanding reliability, futuristic styling, and an awesome 4x4 experience.
The Good & The Bad
I fell in love with the VX when I first saw it back in 2000, so when I came accross one while car shopping I knew my decision was instantly made. Now that I have been the owner of a coveted silver Isuzu VX for over a year, I have mixed felings about her...BTW, her name is Twiggy, named after the sexy little robot from the old Buck Rogers TV show.
A great vehicle.
You can find the specifications for this vehicle easily, but until you own one you cannot appreciate it's power. 2 door SUVs exclude the masses, but for the 2000 or so VX owners that's just fine. No other vehicle of its price even comes close to gather attention like the VX. The power is there. It is the most fun to drive of every SUV I tested, including Jeep. I say get one while you can!!
