Used 1993 Isuzu Rodeo Consumer Reviews
1992 Rodeo
I have over 200,000 miles on this truck with almost no major repairs. At 160,000 it did finally need a new clutch. Motor is all original (minus spark plugs and oil). Never been rebuilt. Body is rust free, original paint. This has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned and also the longest (10 years). I wish it had a little more power but otherwise love this truck. It has never left me stranded, I have towed quite a bit with it and it always gets us home.
Great SUV
I bought this new in 1993 and has been agreat reliable car. I would recommendthis to anyone. The 4wd system is thebest I have ever driven. It has been anice roomy family car as well.
It's been good to us
We've had our car for six years. It now has 84,000 miles and still going. The maintenance hasn't been that bad; the one main was that recall that we paid for, something that was leaking on the engine. It cost us 400 dollars or so. We had the timing belt replaced and the brakes. The car rides a bit harsh and i know it's not a sports car but I wish that it wouldn't take so long to get to 25 mph. Our car is standard. Anyway we will probably keep driving it till it dies.
a nice car
When i first bought this car i loved it and i still love it now. It is definatly one of the best SUV's of its time. Very minor problems over the years, one of them was the freeze plugs rusted but my son fixed it in his autoshop class, it only costed him $5. the engine now has 176k miles on it and it still runs like it did when i drove it off the lot.
Great vehicle
I am the original owner of my Rodeo, and it has proven to be a very reliable workhorse. It started as my first "family" vehicle, then became mine when my wife upgraded a few years ago to a Tahoe. I love it.
