excellent
excellent vehicle, I like the four doors , the ride and the fuel economy
Very Dependable
Great mileage, just returned from a 3200 mile trip. With 2 persons and some luggage driving about 78 MPH the gas MPG was 24.2. On the return leg driving at 70 MPH the average was 27.6 MPG. The van has 157,300 miles.
Our 1996 Osasis Van no more
We bought this van new in 1996 raising 4 children and daily use. This November after listening to various subtle sounds, all turned worse coming home one night in heavy October rain. The next day, we found out the rack and pinion could not be replaced because no parts were not any more available and none transferable from an Odyssey. This van required only basic maintenance and served us 27 years of faithful use. Its quality won’t be replaceable but our gratitude exceeds it’s lost. Wish we could have cars made like this.

Loved our Oasis
We put 220,000 miles and only did recommended maintenance. The mechanic that services it said 300k miles was possible with very little expense. It is the mini-van that will not die!
average at best
Worst thing about this car was the brakes. They had to be changed every 20000 miles. Car always sounded like a train coming to a stop. Burned up tires quickly too. Leaked quite a bit of oil. Had quirky electrical problems like windows and door locks not working. At one point the driver had to roll down the window and reach out to open the door from the outside. Used to hit my head on the tailgate when it was open. Road noise was a bit loud.Other than that we had the car for ten years and 152000 miles. Sold it when the exhaust manifold cracked.
