Can't beat it for the money

I traded a 2003 G35 Sedan for this coupe. Can't beat the styling, but I can't believe memory seats are not offered. The exterior styling is top- notch, but interior comforts really are lacking. I think Lexus does a much better job on their interior, but their exterior styling is SO stodgy. So, I guess I can live with a few less bells and whistles on the inside, because I love all the head-turners I am seeing. I have actually had at least 20 people comment on what a beautiful car this is in parking lots in the the two and a half months I have owned it. Got the Lakeshore Slate. It's a GREAT color. Looks great day or night. For less than 40k you are not going to find a more satisfying car.

If you crave attention, this is the car to get! I just purchased a Diamond Graphite coupe with the sport-tuned suspension package with the gorgeous 19" wheels (I also had a nose mask installed). This thing turns heads....BIG TIME!! Not to mention that the exhaust sound is amazing....I can't decide whether to listen to that or the great Bose sound system!! Oh yea...did I mention that it is really REALLY quick? Trust me....get one of these....you wont regret it!!!

This is a great car. It handles well (sport-tuned suspension) although it is a little harsh. It looks great, and its styling is slightly understated - no sculpting along the sides.

I love looking at and driving this car. I have talked with other owners who have complained about braking problems. I have not experienced this yet. My only dislike of the car is the limited headroom. I also have difficulty locating what I want on the instrument panel.

The excellent Motor Trend and Car & Driver reviews were accurate. I purchased a fully optioned G35 Coupe with Sport Tuned Suspension etc. I could have purchased a BMW 330i for a little bit more expense but am confident that I have the better value, style and performance (i.e. better braking figures and acceleration etc.)

I love everything about the G35 6MT except driving in the snow. The G35 handles the curves and has great acceleration. The car looks great and is a ton of fun to drive. Great BOSE sound system and love the tilt/telescoping steering wheel.

Great acceleration, excellent trans - best auto-manual I've tried, sweet handling. It makes my long commute very comfortable. I've read complaints about poor gas mileage, but I'm getting 24 mpg in mixed city/hwy after only 2k miles (usually mpg goes up a bit after break in). Also seen complaints about touchy brakes, mine are sensitive but I quickly adjusted. Excellent value for the $!

After driving a Buick Park Avenue for 15 years I decided to down size and step up. Boy did I make the right decision. I enjoy my G35X more and more each day. The only complaint is the milage but I can overcome that because of the luxury of the ride. The amenities are unbelievable. I have the navigation system and the sirius radio. Both are great and I find I use the nav system constantly.I have never been happier with a car.

I had once thought that my 325i coupe that I bought in Germany was the greatest car ever. 140 mph on the autobahn without the slightest groaning. My G35 coupe makes my beemer feel like a go kart. I love the german cars but Nissan has just surpassed the benchmark in the sport coupe market. The M3 is faster and handles better, but you can buy 2 G35's for the price of 1 M3. That makes the G35 the best value for the dollar.

I'm not happy with the car after almost two years. The mileage is horrible (15 mpg) and the brakes have been replaced twice already at 18,000 miles. The cd changer has gone out twice and the tires are cupping and making lots of noise. Since the backs are a different size and they are unidirectional, they can't be rotated. Road noise is very loud from the tires. I'm ready to sell it.

OK I traded my FX35 which I owned for 6 months, liked it. I wanted something sporty and quick. Reseached the anniv.Z, Mazda RX8, BMW 3 & Crossfire. The obvious was the G355M.Great styling and it is quick, as fast as the Z with more comfort and function. No sunroof in the Z.Rx8 too slow,BMW too over priced for what you get, not to mention the service costs.Crossfire cool design and very quick, but Chrysler service is notorius for being poor and they hate to do warrenty work.

I have owned this car for approximately 7 months and it is the best purchast I have ever made. It will pass anything but a gas station...but as my father has always said if you can afford the car you can afford the gas. You get many looks when driving this car so don't be penny foolish and flip for the chrome wheels and spoiler it makes a huge difference...It is not that quick off the start but once you get it going jumping from 70 to 100 in 5th is exhilarating just pick your moments the tickets add up...what else well it is an extremely smooth ride compared to its sister car the Z350 and it does have a back seat that is a plus and the trunk is good size for a sports car...

Always looking forward in driving the G, catching people in the corner of your eye turning heads and hearing people tell you that 'you've got a sweet ride!' No regrets.

This car is a head turner. The sport edition has a wonderful growl to it. Power is never an issue. The car has a solid feel. Handling is top rate. I drove a Z before purchasing a G35 and the G35 puts the Z to shame. This is one top rate car. If you are in the market for a sports car but want more amenities, the G35 is what you should be looking at.

Amazing acceleration, 280 horse power and the sound of the engine and exhaust… Worth every penny. Strong, sexy, fast, quick, reliable. I still don't understand why it is not as expensive as it should be, but good for me. It's been 9 months I've been driving Ininiti G35 Coupe, and I appreciate each and every minute of it. This car is better for those who know about cars and appreciate a powerful engine. Bose sound system is very good, support suspension makes it even sweeter. This is just a great car, its performance will amaze you. Smooth… For those who know how to drive stick shift and don't mind driving in the traffic, manual is much stronger... I test drove it, and was amazing.

The G35 coupe can be fast or luxurious depending on your preference or driving style. The powerful V6 and sporty exhaust burble are a constant reminder that this car has high performance levels on par with that of purpose built sports cars like the 350Z, or Mazda Rx8. Midrange power is outstanding and the long wheel base and stiff chassis gives confidence during hard cornering. The car also has an elegant and ssophisticated feel or demeanor. The slow rifle bolt 6 speed shifter, weighty steering feel and slightly soft brake pedal leans more towards luxury than sport. However, this allows the powerful car to be driven very smoothly and adds grace to it's movements.

With out a doubt the sexiest coupe for the money. Great off the line, it is a pleasure see everyone in your rearview mirror. Suprisingly, the rear seats are roomy. I have 2 girls (9 & 13) and they fit just fine. It doubles as a famly car, but its all sportcar. It is tight on the curves. You feel like one with the road. The power is not wasted with spin outs. The tires bite and you fly. I'm going back to the dealer for a second one. "A must have, enjoy!!"

Since the day I bought my Infiniti G35 Coupe, I get noticed every where I go, from old people to young teenagers. Driving this car is like driving on cloud nine. You can go as fast or slow as you want and you feel so secure and comfortable. On long drives, its so comfortable I want to pull over and just fall asleep in it. It is sexy, luxious, sporty, and I dont know anyone who doesn't think it is one of the hottest cars on the market.

First, I must be honest and state that I bought the car only three months ago. Since I have put about 900 miles on it. It rides smooth but lets you feel the torgue at command. It is the perfect hybrid if you love your sports car with a hint of luxury. The inside is clean and sleek and the honestly feel that the outside is timeless and will be an eyeturner for years to come. When I was a teenager I always loved the 300zx for its styling inside and out. When the new 350z came out I was disappointed at the bare bones muscle, and plastic type set up. The G35 Coupe is what the new 350z should be. Hell, they have the same engine.

I have only put 1000 miles on this car, but I love it. I drove a 2000 Mustang GT for 5 years so this was an upgrade. I have lost nothing in straight line performance and it handles much better. It also is much more luxurious. I think it is gorgeous and the performance is excellent. I am getting daily compliments on how it looks. It also sounds very nice, although nothing beats the old Mustang. The price is a fair value, probably a very good value. I considered a BMW 330i, but it costs more. I also considered another Mustang, but this car is easily worth the extra $9 to $10,000 more.

this review is for the 6mt. just topped the 15k mileage, and everything is running peak. no problems, other than the city mileage estimates are way off ;-) this car is absolutely fun to drive. every day. excellent luxury performance car. of course its not the fastest off-the-line, but it can hold its own. and did i mention how beautiful this car looks?!? of course, its terrible in snow. i purchased 18's and snow tires, and it helps, but only a wee-bit. just starting to think about mod'ing. looking into a body kit (top secret/gialla). would like to add a supercharger. great platform to build off of, but obviously on the $$ end. definitely not required to mod though, personal pref only!

The G35 coupe is the finest vehicle I've ever had the fortune to own. Certainly, there are higher performing or higher luxury vehicles out there. But few cars at this price point combine such ample parts performance, refinement, and inspiring form *and* function. While some cars, it seems, are so “perfect” that they are little more than lifeless, artless appliances devoted only to the task of being faithful, workday conveyances, the G35 hasn't forgotten that a few people in this country actually enjoy driving. The G35 encourages spirited driving and inspires personal attachment by channeling a passionate personality that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Great car. Fun to drive. I bought the Diamond ext/ black int. w/sport sup., wing. It looks like a rocket., puts the 350z style to shame. When you drive down the road, heads turn and people are twisting their necks to get a second look. I have been waiting to enter streets and seen wives telling their husbands " thats it, thats the car we need to get." This car is fun, fun, fun to drive. If you want a car thats turns heads this is the one - heck with those BMW's and the 350z ( looks like somebody to a chainsaw and cut off the rear 2feet). If you want style and great features and a car thats fun to drive.....GO G. G35 You will not be sorry.

I Just purchased a new G 35 with the premium and sport packages and it does not disappoint. This car is everything magazines have been raving about and MORE! It is now clear why BMW needs to revamp its 3 series to remain competitive in this market segment. If you are looking for a a luxury sports car that moves like you would not believe, looks great, and will not break the bank, then the G35 (NOT THE 330) is what you should buy. As far as I am concerned, this is the new benchmark in this car segment. Time for BMW to move over!

I had reservations about purchasing a 2003 or 2004 G35 Coupe because of their poor interior design and quality. This year Infiniti fixed this car's major flaw. I love the interior of my 2005; real aluminum, a clock that's not blocked by the navigation screen, and a steering wheel that is backlit. This car is now the complete package, attractive exterior design, unbeatable performance and handling, and a luxury interior.

Car is a joy to drive. Acceleration and handling are superb. Styling is eye-catching. I did not buy the wing. It looks like an ironing board left on the trunk Trunk is small, but not tiny. Plan to buy snow tires in the northern states. High performance and rear wheel drive make for a slippery car with wide tires. I smile every morning when I see the car.

The bucket seats are taking some time to get used too. Maybe I'm too big for them, but I can deal with it. Can't see my self taking it for a long drive though, its not comfortable enough. Other than that, this is my dream car.

What a beautiful car! I have had my 2005 6MT for six months now and the excitement and exhiliration of driving it has not worn off one bit. The engineering that goes into this car is amazing. Six air bags, vicious limited slip, 19" GORGEOUS rims, 300bhp, killer exhaust note, and styling that absolutely turns heads (including my own). The leather seats are gorgeous as well. My hardest decision was what color to choose. Ultimately, it was the Ivory Pearl. Just stunning. On the road, this thing does not even lean in the corners. Grip is phenomenal. I do 0-60 in 5.5 seconds. Difficult to drive in a 70 mph zone without speeding. Travelling at 90 mph feels like 45. You can have your Mercedes or BMW!

Unbelievable the amount of car you get for the money. The G35 Coupe has surpassed my expectations. The interior is clean and well laid out and very roomy for a sport coupe seating 4. Driver's seat is very comfortable. The Bose stereo system is crystal clear and also works as an MP3 6 disc player to hold a ton of tunes. The exterior design is terrific. Sophisticated yet sporty. The G35 has the look of a car that should cost at least 10-20K more. Finally, step on the gas and feel the force of your body pushed back into the seat by the the 280 hp engine. Slip in and out of traffic or around sharp turns with ease. This car is the complete package.

Sexiest style on the road. Makes BMW look dated and appear under-powered. For 2005, Infiniti ups the power to 298hp from it's naturally aspirated VQ series V6. Why can't bimmer and Audi do this?

Car was the best purchase I have made. I am 20 years old and previous to this I had a acura rsx which did not have the low end torque i was lookng for. This car gives me everything I need. Performance is great, ride quality, and looks great inside and out. I test drove other cars in its class bmw 330 ci and lexus 350 and both cars just did not but out the amount of power car the g 35 does.

After 6 months of investigating coupes in the 30,000-40,000 range I decided on the G35. From the first moment I drove away from the dealer I know I had made the right choice. I love this car. It is a blast to drive. The sports suspension and 19 inch wheels make the handling a dream as it hugs the road on curves. The 280 horses under the hood are plenty allowing the car to accelerate to 60 in less than 6 seconds. Its ability to accelerate from 50 to passing speed is even more impressive. It is also much better looking than BMW 3 series. Gas mileage is only around 15 in town but I did not buy the car for gas economy. Great car especially for the price!!

I have owned this vehicle for over 2 years now and have had mo major problems. The interior has some rattles that can be annoying, but the dealer will fix them. The Bose stereo is garbage and the stereo display is minimal. One from the 1980s displays more information. My G35 just hit 28000 miles and I just now replaced the front tires. Rear tires are still original and are doing well. The throttle response is a bit slow and not immediate when you step on it. It works better to have a slow and steady foot on the pedal. Other that that it is fun to drive every day. Mileage stinks but I expect that for a car like this. I didn't buy it thinking I would save at the pump.
