I just purchased the Limited Edition (Denim) and am so happy with it. First of all, I don't understand the "professional" reviews that want to compare it with something that cost thousands more and should be amazing for what you just paid! The Venue is an honest, efficient, comfortable small car. SUV? If that means taller hatchback with great visibility then yes, this is the best very small suv without awd. The Limited Trim has heated seats, heated mirrors, Apple Play, keyless entry, and all of the other niceties that make it feel way better than say a Chevy Spark or Mitsubishi Mirage. I'm only 5'5" so the ability to see comfortably without totally relying on technology. I live in the NW and it's handling our weather rain, fog, light snow, and ice terrific. No, it will not win any races but it will keep up with our traffic just fine. (I drive a mix of hwy and city for my 15-mile commute.) Most of all I find it fun to drive! Again, it's not a sports car, but still zippy enough and really easy to park. Do yourself a favor and drive one.You'll be glad you did. Fell like this pruchase ticks all of the boxes I wanted without being too much vehicle that I'm not using as intended. Fingers-crossed for many happy miles ahead.

I've owned a 2023 Venue Limited for the past 2 months. I absolutely love the car. The interior design is sleek and comfortable, the display and connectivity is great. On the slow side when it comes to acceleration, but sport mode can definitely change that (I also came from driving a Veloster turbo...) No sunroof, which isn't a deal breaker to me. Not so roomy in the trunk, however the seats fold down easily to create a lot more space for cargo, day trips, vacations, etc. One little issue I did have: my steering was very wonky. It veered consistently to the right, even on straight roads. I played with the lane assist to see if that was the culprit, but it was not. I ended up getting the car serviced 3 times in 2 weeks (all under warranty, thanks Hyundai!) and, according to the shop, it was not the tire alignment nor the electric steering components causing the problem. The shop ended up cross-rotating my tires and that solved the issue. I'm glad to be back on the road in a car that I love, however this issue came up before I had even reached 1500 miles. I am not sure if this was a manufacturer defect or not, but it didn't taint my appreciation for this vehicle. I am more curious if this has happened to anyone else. Overall, a solid car, good gas mileage, and with Hyundai's warranty, you really won't have to worry about much.

Yes it’s budget friendly but no it does not feel cheap. All the safety features and the styling are put together so well. It looks like it costs more esp on the SEL and up trims. All the latest features and a sunroof included for $23K is unheard of these days. The engine is dual port injection so there won’t be issues like older Hyundais had with carbon buildup. The transmission is the best CVT I have ever seen, it feels like a regular transmission. It may not win any races but it’s more than adequate esp in the sport mode, the snow mode works excellent too. Overall it’s a very easy vehicle to drive and live with. Great warranty and excellent build quality. The only flaw is the seats are kinda hard. I’d buy it again. UPDATE: I have always had luxury vehicles, due to moving to a rural area we needed something good on gas, able to handle rural roads and be reliable. This car has done all those perfectly for 30,000 mi so far. It’s also surprisingly roomy & comfortable, lots of headroom, also leather, sunroof, heated seats all the things you don’t expect for 24K. Not the fastest but iits truly fine being the only complaint. People often comment they like the looks.

All cars are compromised. That's what makes them fun. My Venue is the best compromise I've ever owned (15+ vehicles). But it is a limited compromise. It will not waft you from New York to Chicago in effortless comfort. It will not serve as a vacation car for a family of four. It will not rocket up the left lane of the steep climb on 287 up from New Jersey. It will not compensate for your lack of attraction to folk of a compatible sexual orientation. It will provide excellent to astonishing gas mileage, if driven reasonably: high 30's to low 40's. Adjusted for inflation and earnings growth, cheaper than my '66 VW beetle. No compromise in fun to drive. Hurtle through corners, downshift at the early apex, accelerate through. Much fun. Not quite as much road feel as I would like, it's Asian. I loved my '78 Rabbit, when it ran. The Venue is a better all around package. And it's even a bit shorter.

While my 2021 Sonata was in the shop being repaired, I rented a 2021 Venue SE. I was so impressed with the ease of getting in and out, zippiness and easy to maneuver in an urban setting, not to mention nearly all the same safety technology of my Sonata. I was so impressed with the Venue, I traded in my Sonata for the Limited model. Couldn’t be happier with my decision. The Venue has plenty of space for my 6’2” frame. Surprisely plenty of legroom, and headroom. All safety technology that one can get. The infotainment is is easy to learn and use. It had its own navigation system, which is again very intuitive. The seats have a nice design and are firm, yet comfortable! Love the white stitching thru out the black/dark gray interior. Gas mileage is so far within range of 29/33/31. The LED headlights at night are just as bright as in my Sonata. Lots of room in the back, especially when the back seats are down. The Venue’s design, presence, vibrant blue adds to my enjoyment of this vehicle. I I do have a few minor complaints. The Limited doesn’t come with wireless internet, the reason is because of the factory navigation. Not sure why. Only the SEL is equipped with a sunroof. None of the backseats in the US Venues have a fold down armrest/cup holder. Hyundai does make u pay for a $65 detached cushion cup holder, which is downright inadequate but a silly add on! Those are my only complaints! Overall the 2022 Hyundai Venue Limited is an inexpensive, roomy, comfortable, loaded with tech compact SUV that is best described as “adorable!” It’s a great SUV for urban driving, college student, and 2nd car. They are currently hard to come by, as I found out there was only 2 available in actual South Florida inventory. 16 in transit, with nearly 80% of these with a deposit already on them. If you can get your hands on them, I’m sure you will find the Venue hitting a sweet spot for need for a compact SUV.

Recently purchased as a first car for my daughter -- really didn't want to buy new, but the ridiculousness of the used car market pushed me in this direction. Glad that it did. Never shopped Hyundai before. Came away impressed. We drove most everything in segment (Chevy, Kia, Honda, Mazda, Volkswagen). They were all really good. Due to combo of styling, price, safety, warranty, and 3-yrs of free scheduled maintenance, we found this to be best value. Terrific visibility. Latest safety features (collision warnings, lane assist, blind-spot monitors, airbags, etc, etc). Engine is spunky -- more than adequate on both highway and around town. Don't believe everything you read (and I don't want her going that fast anyway). Interior is very nicely appointed with great seats, good materials, nice radio w/phone interface, sun-roof, digital dash, etc. Seems much bigger than it is, particularly in front seat. Good on gas. Also very pleasantly surprised with ride and overall build quality. No keyless entry, phone charging pad, or auto dimming rear-view mirror are among my biggest gripes - should be there at mid-level trim. Definitely worth a test drive if this is your market. Impressive little car.

I had my Mitsubishi Outlander Sport since 2014 and was looking for an upgrade. The 2022 Hyundai Venue caught my eye at the dealership and I just needed something for work that wasn't so old. I'm a nurse and I can't miss work due to weather. So glad I bought this gem! This is my first Hyundai and I am hooked. I got the Limited trim with roof rack. This little car does not disappoint! zippy, fun to drive, handles beautifully, and has all the safety features! The media screen is the best, and even the speakers have amazing sound! The trunk is small, but I can still haul all of my kayaking gear with ease. The sport mode gives you a kick of spunk and I've yet to use the snow mode here in P.A. I truly love this car and can say I am actually sad that my commute is only 10 miles to work.... certainly not enough time in the morning to enjoy the drive. Best car purchase I've made.

The Hyundai denim limited, the inside is dope handles well, can turn on a dime, sport mode is awesome, tech features are great, so far do good, no complaints

We are extremely happy with the 2022 Hyundai Venue. It has so many perks and runs so smoothly. We love the color (white). Purchasing this vehicle is the best decision we could have made in today's market.

A very sound review from Edmunds. Like most reviews, though, the mere adequacy of power lowers the reviewer's appreciation of the fun. There's a nice, twisting road near the Ramapo Mountains, US Route so adequately maintained. Local yokels enjoy driving this in pretty sporty cars. So do i, in my Red SEL. Nothing silly, but when the road is clear... No problem keeping up with cars twice or thrice the price, its a driver's test, not an acceleration test. Uphill? Doesn't matter: there's always a lumbering delivery van logging up at 40 followed by frustrated Macan drivers. For interstates, maintaining 70 is OK, I guess places where that's slow might not be so pleasant. Fuel economy? Driven reasonably, about 40, carefully about 45. Stop and Start: laws of Physics apply, low 30s. Not a car for a family of 4 carrying lots of stuff. A Couple and their stuff making tha Ann Arbor - Seattle run, why not? After fill ups I notice an estimated range of 400+, with a reserve. How's your bladder?

Cute little car. Affordable. Has many features. Like Hyundai for free oil changes, etc. My cell phone doesn't charge in wireless charging area because its an older phone.

Consumer reports said to much wind noise, uncomfortable seats ,.well let me say the seats are not uncomfortable,only hear wind noise when front window is open an you can fix that by opening rear windows down about an inch.an not everyone has a lot of money to spend so buying this new at under 25,000 with alot of features this is a great buy.

I only had it for 3 weeks, i love it, how it manuvers and handles well in small spaces. Its not a powerhouse but it makes up in design. You feel like your in a more expensive car...mine is the denim limited, i give it a A in design. Genius well done.

The car was marketed as an economical, cute car. I live in Chicago, where potholes are your worst enemy. after owning the car for three days, I ran over a pothole and completely popped my front driver side tire. Called Triple A to assist me. This lovely pothole managed to bend my control arm, rim, and back beam for rear tires. While my tires were replaced under warranty, the mechanical fixes costed a total of $3500 dollars. The snow mode was impressive and allowed me to navigate ethe harsh winter without struggle (impressive for an FWD), and the sport mode feature really took off. Decided to take this car on a trip from Chicago to San Antonio for a family event and its features made for a fantastic journey. The features and price were great, but it is their cheapest subcompact SUV for a reason. I would recommend but watch those bumps and potholes for sure!

Like my Venue but the GPS has not worked from day one. Been to the dealer 3 times. Takes 50 days to get a service appointment at most dealerships. This car was purchased new.

I didn’t purchase the Venue because it had no leg room. It’s nice but it’s only for short people and I’m only 5’5”. I purchased a Tucson.

In less than 2 years I drove 80000. Oil change always really eco friendly low on gas London Ontario to Montreal 750km cost me 65$ It’s real deal very confortable on the highway.
