2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T 4dr SUV AWD w/Saddle Interior (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6A)

Bought Santa Fe 2.0T in July to replace a much loved 2002 CRV. Thus far have found the car to be very fun to drive, comfortable at highway speeds, and the perfect size for driving around town. Only time will tell regarding reliability and dealer service. I have not had any complaints with the steering (as others have reported), and the 2.0T has plenty of power even in the ECO mode. My only complaint is the blind spot created by the severely angled rear windows. They seem to have sacrificed clear sight lines for styling.

I've owned this vehicle since it was new. I have had few problems with it. I like it's spacious interior and attractive exterior. It's getting a touch long in the tooth, but I would hate to part with it. Very dependable. 10 Yrs on and I'm still pretty happy with my Hyundai Santa Fe. Only problems are the backup camera quit working for some reason and the Bluetooth for my phone quit working. Overall I'm still very happy.

2013 2.0 loaded new in 10/2012 now has 124000 mile

Bought a loaded Santa Fe Sport in 10/2012. Murano Red with light tan leather. I am 66 years old and this has been my favorite vehicle. I have owned Ford, Audi, GMC, Lincoln, Acura over the years. Many have cost more, but my Santa Fe Sport has been a steller ride with NO problems. I have it fully serviced at the dealership every 20000 miles or so. They perform any adjustments and attend to recalls. Jiffy Lube does everything in between.Still stylish, interior like new (gently worn on driver seat edge). Maintains power well. No oil level problems. Rides like new. Interior materials clean nicely and look sharp. LOVE the navigation system (updated myself in 2015). 19 inch tires a bot pricey ( I use Bridgestone Duelers). Hope to get 200000+ miles and then look at a one or two year old Genesis g90. We have a great Hyundai in Wilmington NC, which helps. Cannot say enough about the fine reliability and design of the Santa Fe Sport. A perfect fit for local driving and long trips. I know Hyundai vehicles do not hold especially high valuations on the used car market so my advice is keep it going until it becomes a nuisance and then Craigs List it.

Thought it'd get great fuel economy

Don't believe even the revised fuel economy numbers that Hyundai says the 2013 Santa Fe can get. I bought my Santa Fe assuming I would get very near the (at the time) advertised 33MPG highway, god I was wrong. I have owned the vehicle for 1 month today, it is currently in the shop to find out why my mileage is soo terrible (21 MPG) mixed use. Mind you I drive the car very economically to get better mileage. NOW Hyundai says OOPS we goofed, we lied about the numbers, turns out your car is a gas guzzler, here is a $65 visa gift card for your trouble. HA! $65, thanks but no thanks! Also, the dealer checked under the when I got there the car was almost out of coolant after 1100 miles.

ERRATIC STEERING PROBLEMS

We purchased a 2013 Sport 2.0 Turbo Oct 2012 and have only put on 4000 miles since then because of the poor steering. Picked it up on a Friday night and was back on Saturday, could not drive it on highway and keep it between the lines. Have had it back 6 times, adjusted the alignment, flashed the computer and even put in a new steering column and still have the problem. Filed under the Lemon law and have been going through the process for 4 months. Have to go through the BBB auto line before the state. BBB is funded by the auto industry, just found out our claim was rejected, even after the arbitrator had an expert driver do the report. DON'T BUY WITHOUT DRIVING ON HIGHWAY,WORST DRIVE.
