Used 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL Consumer Reviews
Love the car but Hyundai should dump Bluelink.
I have a 2019 Limited 4 cylinder AWD. Love the look. Love the ride. Acceleration fine for me. Safety features are fine. Most everything is intuitive after learning. Windshield wipers are bad. They miss clearing a whole section in the middle of the windshield. Blue link starter app doesn’t always work, bad since they eventually want to charge for this. Cup holders in doors are pretty much worthless. The ones in my 2010 Sante Fe were better. Update I bought new wipers from somewhere other than Hyundai and they work better. I am still upset about the app with the automatic start not working it was high on my list of needs. I went the whole first year with it not working 50% of the time. Then a tech talked me through reconnecting my phone and it worked better for a while now I’m back to intermittent success and failure. This is why I lowered my rating to 3 stars. I still love everything else as I said before. Review update 2022. I still have a love hate relationship with Hyundai. I love the vehicle and have had no problems with it. I was supposed to get three years of the app that starts the car which is with a company called Bluelink. I believe that Hyundai contracts with them to run the service. As I said in my original review the remote start did not work was unreliable for the first two years. They did fix it by the third year but now they want me to pay $20 a month for the service. All I want is to be able to start my car in the winter as I live in the north country. Bluelink requires that you pay for all of the services in order to get the remote start. For a senior citizen on a fixed income it’s too expensive. The Hyundai Santa Fe I purchased is a great vehicle for someone who has enough money to pay for the Bluelink service. But I will not be able to buy another Hyundai if they don’t offer a start option on the key fob. I’ll pay for it upfront but I can’t afford to pay $20 a month. Five stars for the vehicle 0 stars for Bluelink. 2023 update. I dumped bluelink they finally got it working but refused to give enough credit for the two years that it didn’t work. I had a key fob remote pu on by a Hyundai approved technician. It works great. Now my only complaint there is no heated steering wheel and the heated seats don’t go on with the remote start. The seat belt is set back too far it’s hard to get it on. I’m older and it’s hard to reach. THERE ARE NO MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE SO FAR. l still love the car. I raise the review to 5 stars because without the bluelink othe issues I mentioned are relatively minor. Update 2024 over 100,000 and still love the car, great gas mileage, 30 mpg on trips. Automatic starter I had put in still works great especially in winter months. No major problems with Vehicle.

Great in every way but 2nd row seats
Cant get bench seat for second row and cant get material seat rather than leather if you want. 2nd row has only captain seats meaning its a 6 seater rather than 7 seats
