I have mixed feelings about my hyundai Elandra
I have had the car for 8 months. I put in 4000 miles. i love the way the car drives and feels but I have had 7 roadside calls in 8 months. The battery that turns the car on and off and opens the doors goes out for no reason. I have ad to call for roadside assistance and the mechanical team which comes has to use "burglar tools" to open the door in order to charge the battery. The emergency key does not work . Even the roadside team could not open the door using the emergency key that hyundai gave me. After searching and begging, I finally got an appointment with a dealer this week. If they fix the problem, great. If not, this will be the last hyundai I ever buy

Great car for economical commuter
Bought a 2024 SE Trim with 2.0 in December 2023. The car is driven around 85 miles per day five days per week on rural two-lane roads. I now have a little of 3k miles on the unit and my gas mileage has ranged from 42-45 mpg on my daily commute. For the base trim the car comes with aluminum alloys, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay, lane-keep assist, lane centering, etc. For the price I do not believe you can buy a better equiped and performing base model vehicle of any make or model. This is my first Hyundai product and I am thoroughly impressed.

Can't get parts to repair
On April 23, 2024 I leased a 2024 Hyundai Elantra Limited. On May 9th it was in the dealership for a complete electrical failure. Did not get the vehicle back until June 14, 2024, because it required a complete wiring harness replacement, and this part was not available. This was not the dealerships fault but the manufacturer who fail to keep their dealerships supported. With all the other available options, why choose Hyundai?

45 mpg, stereo buggy
Chief complaint- when stereo is on and you run back a recorded channel, sometimes is gets stuck in the 'going back' mode and plays an incessant beep until you turn the car off for several minutes. Nothing can shut it off or make it stop. A simpler system doesn't have this pitfall and it's torturous. ... Apart from being occasionally possessed, it's a nice ride and comfortable.
