I just bought an Elantra yesterday and I absolutely LOVE this car. The handling, the gas mileage, it's amazing! I got the SE model with window etching and the 100,000 10 year bumper to bumper addition - price: $17900

I didn't know what to buy when I started out looking. I had a 1999 Saturn SC2 that took a dump at 75000 miles. I was looking for something more reliable. I can not believe how much I love this car in such a short time. I test drove a few cars in it's class; like Honda and Toyota, and I have to say that for the options and money this one is just better. There are always going to be things that the others do better, but Hyundai caught on that it's the extras that matter. I have the same extras as the SE, but without the 6CD changer.

Really a very pleasant car. Very easy to drive, well made, quiet at cruising, nice touches throughout the car despite its very reasonable price. Good on gas at averaging 28-33mpg. Decent sound system with Mp3 capability. Acceleration a bit course but not unbearable. Steering is very light and took some getting used to. Would recommend to anyone who wants a problem free car thats very relaxing to drive. Certainly feels as if its made to last in the way it's screwed together and performs.

I purchased this car a month ago, and found that this car is really comfortable, handles and turns well. I am getting 26 mpg avg on 90% city and 10% highway driving. Acceleration is good for 4 cylinder motor. Wind noise is normal at 80mph+. Car is built sold, doors shut and sounds solid. Excellent value for price, strongly recommend checking out this car before spending an extra $2000-$4000 to get same quality on other competitors.

So far this car has been performing as expected. I'm geting around 33-34 mpg city/hwy mix driving. I'm having a hard time finding a comfortable sitting position, sometimes it feels lke the back of the seet is poking my ribs. the rear window view is not so good. there is a blind spot on driver's side mirrior. The car drives very soft, the stearing took me some time to get used to but it's ok.
