What a wonderful surprise!

It has a very comfortable cabin layout, smooth ride, and great handling. If you need any more in those departments, you need a sports car or a luxury sedan. So far, it's got 3 months and 3,000 miles on it and no complaints. Gas mileage around 27-28 with 40/60 hwy/city use. The bang for the buck factor is huge. The brakes are a bit grabby when cold, but perform well with no noticeable fade. Acceleration is great (for an engine this size). The seats are very comfy (fits 4 adults well). Very gadget-friendly: aux audio input, 2 12V jacks and handy storage areas. This car is not all things to all people, but you should definitely consider it if you're looking at this price and/or size range.

I just bought an Elantra yesterday and I absolutely LOVE this car. The handling, the gas mileage, it's amazing! I got the SE model with window etching and the 100,000 10 year bumper to bumper addition - price: $17900

Fun to Drive!

I love my Elantra! It handles like a sports car, with tight cornering. Climate control is great and the heated seats are SO nice! The sound system is nice, with lots of speakers. The accessory outlet is handy, but the steering wheel audio controls are the best! Cruise control is precise. Trunk space is good with drop-down seats for added length. Good leg-room in rear seat. The ride could be softer to feel the bumps less harshly, but it's firm and responsive. I think it's sporty and fun, especially in red!

I currently own a 2001 Hyundai Elantra which I am about to pass on to my 16- year-old daughter. The car has 130,000 miles and still runs great so when I wanted to purchase a new vehicle, there was no question that I wanted another Elantra. I went with the SE model this time. I am extremely pleased with how much the vehicle has changed (for the better) since 2001. I love the comfort of the cabin and the sporty look. I am definitely impressed with the horsepower as well. I look forward to driving this vehicle each day!

Really a very pleasant car. Very easy to drive, well made, quiet at cruising, nice touches throughout the car despite its very reasonable price. Good on gas at averaging 28-33mpg. Decent sound system with Mp3 capability. Acceleration a bit course but not unbearable. Steering is very light and took some getting used to. Would recommend to anyone who wants a problem free car thats very relaxing to drive. Certainly feels as if its made to last in the way it's screwed together and performs.
