Used 2003 Hyundai Accent Hatchback Consumer Reviews
my accent
After owning a Toyota I dont feel this car quite measures up but it certainly qualifies as adequate in this price range.
Heart of a lion!
I bought this car new in 2003 and the engine is still going strong at 135,000 miles. Unfortunately the suspension is not. It needs new struts and some other work, so I think it’s time for an upgrade. It was the perfect car for my petite frame. Good visibility, I can reach all the controls, the hatchback provides great cargo space, and never broke down and left me stranded in the whole time I owned it. I will miss this car when I replace it.

BOUGHT IT TODAY
I have just traded in my 2002 Toyota Celica GT for a Hyundai Accent. I basically could not justify paying $500.00 a month for a car (the Celica). I decided to put my money into renovating my home, so I needed to get out of my Celica lease and get into the cheapest car I could find for the value. My wife and I test drove a lot of cars, went to a lot of dealerships, it came down to the echo and the accent. My wife fell in love with the accent so we got it. It was funner to drive and more comfortable than the echo. It is no Celica (I loved that car) but it will be an ok substitute for the next 5 years.
Great Car, Great Price, Great Warranty
I am 6'5" and demand space. The little car has it. I have no problems getting in or out of the vehicle. I got the GT model at the price I expected for a base model car. I have driven it every- day without any problems. I drive 60+ miles a day with a fuel economy of 29mpg at my last fill-up. However, this has increased with every fillup. I am very pleased with the little car. It has good pick up, tons of features, a low sticker price and an awesome warranty.
Forget the Mini Cooper
I bought this car after looking at all the other models in its class and hands down the Accent GT was the best buy! I have in quartz green and people comment on the cool color everywhere I go. Not to mention the cool white tack like those in the Porche 911 the great warrenty.....I mean all cars lose their appeal after a while, why not have one that looks cool and leaves you money to go have fun...great, great car.
