Honda missing blind spot camera🤦
My odyssey, civic and pilot all have passenger side blind spot camera! It's the best feature Honda has put on their vehicles and sadly they took it off🤦 My friends who have Hondas as well complain of not having this feature in the new Hondas🤦 I just traded my 2017 Honda Pilot for a 2025 Honda Pilot Trailsport and its missing the camera! They already have these cameras when you drive slow speed and when parking so why take it off! The panel is useless when driving and taking an extra turn of you head to the right to see the blinking yellow blind spot feature is a pain! Its easier to just look at your panel and see the blindspot and you can turn it off anyway if it distracts you! What a waste! Honda needs to bring it back!

We’ve ONLY had it for a week!
Always love the new car smell! Things I’ve felt with so far…. Went in the shop at less than 100 miles on it for a sunroof adjustment. It’s close but NOT perfect, (I’m a retired master certified auto tech). The HUD adjusts up and down, but not left and right? Therefore it’s a bit off for me. This is our 3rd pilot since 2013, and they have ALL been WHITE. I’m a bit miffed over all the parameters that need to be met just for the auto high beams to WORK… Auto wipers are great as well as the speed of them. The seat pan cushions feel pretty stiff to me, and im 195lb. Runs fine, handles good. I’ve only got 250 miles on it, so that’s the best I can give at the moment….

Good to start with
I purchased my 2025 Honda Pilot Elite in October 2024. The dealer ordered it from the factory because the vehicle I wanted was not available in the Midwest. I drive it a lot and already have over 13,000 miles. It's been a solid performer until this week. A few days ago my passenger side front door and rear doors won't unlock with the fob or electronic switches inside. They lock, but won't unlock unless you use the manual switch on each door. The driver's door and rear hatch are not affected. I immediately took it to the dealer and a tech tried for two hours to get it to work, but couldn't. They had never seen this problem with a Pilot. It seems like the locks are getting power and control signals, but they are being prevented from opening by programming or something. Im supposed to take it back next week for this issue, a recall repair, and oil change. As someone said to me, these vehicles are almost too smart for their own good. The sensors also get affected with heavy rain and snow at times, which disables the Adaptive Cruise Control.

Braking system ineffective
My car has crashed twice in 6 months of ownership because the brakes did not work when backing up in my driveway 3 times. All 3 times the camera and sensors did not work and the brakes took extra time to stop. It also does not warn me when I’m close to another object. Honda corp was awful and said it’s my fault even tho there is a class action lawsuit against the company for this exact issue! I’m petrified to get my car back and to make matters worse Honda says I’m upside down on my lease because of the accidents from their faulty car and I’d owe them 7k to get into another Honda!!! This is disgraceful customer service and no one cares that this braking system could be deadly ! Shame on you Honda.

Mimi’s Trailsport
So far I love it. It drives great and I am enjoying all the features and especially the surround cameras.
