2016 Pilot EX-L Hard Shift Issues
Wait on buying this car. Horrible, frequent, but random hard shifting w/ the 6 speed tranny. Wife will not drive it anymore. New 7/2016, we have 6K miles on it and the hard shifting is damaging the whole drive train.. Horrible new car experience. Car is at the dealer for the 3rd time on this as I post this. Looks like I'm not the only one..

Fantastic Vehicle, poor radio/entertainment system
Solid! I previously owned a 2007 Pilot, and the 2016 redesign is a major improvement. Side mirror camera, push button start, remote start are a few of my favorite features that I suddenly can't live without. There's not much more praise I can add to the many positive reviews out there. After one year, my pilot was rear ended. The other car was totaled, the pilot was very drivable and showed minimal damage. But there is one huge letdown with the 2016 Pilot -- the entertainment system. Sound quality is fairly poor. The so-called sub woofer didn't to do anything. Everything is controlled with a poorly defined and sluggish touch screen. Need to switch from radio to CD? Touch the screen, wait a bit, touch the screen, wait a bit, etc until you find the right option. Need to turn on the radio but you are wearing gloves? Can't do it without taking off the gloves. I hate Honda's touch screen interface, and I'm a computer geek. It really painful to use. Then there's playing music off of flash drives. Great in concept, but horrible in execution. Besides having to deal with the sluggish UI and lack of a decent volume button, there is also no 'pause/stop'. Also, when you start the car, it begins automatically playing the first track (alphabetically) off the drive. Same song, EVERY TIME you start the car.

Named Meme's Roadrunner
Excellent car. Great gas mileage. City getting at least 20mpg drops when oil needs changing. Price little steep so shop around for specials or discounts. Could use little more cargo behind 3rd row for luggage for large family other wise Love Love my SUV. Easier to park than my F250 Crewcab
