Toyota take me away!!!
I bought the 1999 Honda Passport because I had heard what great vehicles Honda made - well guess what it's not a (true) Honda -should have done my homework better! This has been the worse car I've owned, looking to get rid of it now! Replaced transmission 11/8/4, hmmm bought it 11/18/98. Everything seems to be breaking not only the major things but minor things too!!! Looking to buy a Toyota now....
Late Model Lemon
I bought this car used from a reputable Honda dealership. I have only owned it for nine months and now I have to do all kinds of repairs to it, just so I can trade it in and wash my hands of a second rate psuedo Honda. Since my purchase in December 2001, I had the fuel gauge fixed ($450), and now the ABS pump isn't working ($500), and the clutch humms loudly when depressed ($600-$1000). I can't wait to get rid of this lemon. Do yourself a favor, when you want to buy a honda, make sure it is actually a Honda.
DO NOT BUY A HONDA PASSPORT
I HATE THE HONDA PASSPORT I SPENT MORE TIME AT THE HONDA DEALERSHIP GETTING IT FIXED AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THE PROBLEM I WILL NEVER BUY A HONDA AGAIN
Gas Guage
Great vehicle. Just had mine fixed under the recall. wondered how many Passport's have problems with their fuel gauge. Mines out and the one at work is out
not a Honda lover
Brakes not very stiff feels like it will not stop when you need it too.
