We expect the 2026 model will have a similar lineup and we'll update this section once we have complete information.] The Honda HR-V crossover SUV is available in three trim levels: LX, Sport and EX-L. All models are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (158 horsepower, 138 lb-ft of torque) connected to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional. Keep reading for our rundown of the HR-V's notable features.
Which HR-V trim does Edmunds recommend?
Honda hasn't released official information on the 2026 HR-V as of this writing. We'll update our recommendation if anything changes, but based on last year's HR-V, we like the Sport trim. It comes with the base model's standard features but adds nice upgrades such as keyless entry, heated front seats, a six-speaker sound system and blind-spot warning. Larger gloss-black wheels and a unique grille also give it an extra dash of style.
