Used 2008 Honda Fit 4dr Hatchback (1.5L 4cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
Best little car I have ever owned.
It is a small car and you can sometimes feel the road but I bought it 2nd hand in 2010. So far, other than regular oil changes, brake pads and replacing wind shield wipers, I have had no repairs! There is plenty of room in the trunk, but lots more room if you fold down the seats. I fill it with gas once a month. I am older now and mile average miles per year are less, but while working I averages 12,000-15,000.

150,000 miles and now some unscheduled repairs
I have loved my 2008 Fit. I am the original owner, but suddenly I seem to be having problems. A few months ago, I had to have an ignition coil replaced. A few days ago, my AC compressor went out. But otherwise, it gets decent gas mileage and drives well - I have a manual. I love the seating configuration/versatility. It does have a road noise, but I've gotten used to it over the years.

Blue Honda Fit
The only mechanical problem is the a/c does not cool properly. The car has lots of design defects. The buyer is required to accept options whether they want them or not. I don't want electric mirrors, door locks, or windows. I do not want power steering. There is no leg room for the driver if the seat is moved far enough forward to reach the steering, or if the seat is moved back far enough for good leg room the steering is too far from the drivers arms. I do not want side curtain or any other air bags. I absolutely do not want ABS and I will disconnect it. I would have liked variable speed intermittent wipers. Ride is harsh. Interior black color is hard to keep clean.
1st Honda, Very Disappointed
Rattly, horrid in snow, terrible AC/heat venting, windshield is impossible to keep clear in snow/ice, headlight covers hard to keep clear, terrible visibility, tire system needs dealer reprogramming for snow tires, poor door lock system, expensive key, ground clearance too low, fishtails in snow horribly, center vents TOO HIGH, blasting air in eyes, heat and A/C insufficient, gas pedal odd angle and stressful to keep in one position, rear window in rain, in short, in 5 months, too many dislikes - will be selling soon.
Honda Fit base 5 speed manual
Great little car, when I first saw it I thought it was ugly. It grows on you, I really enjoy driving it, holds the road nicely and has averaged 37 to 40 mpg.
