Good hybrid SUV... but...
Decent acceleration with hybrid power... 40 MPG combined with FWD.. quite most of the time and it gets loud when the engine turns ON while charging the battery and electric engine makes huge noise while reversing.. comfortable ride with better suspension.. However I notice few annoying problems.. No spare wheel puts into stress while going on longer trips, the driver side mirror shakes while going above 40 MPG, the rear view camera becomes black and white after parking the car in sun for a while, very rarely I've also noticed lane departure sensor failure warning while starting the vehicle.. the dealer always say they can't replicate and try to NOT fix any problem. so be aware of few random annoying issues that this vehicle makes and the amount of time you spend with the dealer and always hear they can't replicate. The hybrid battery pack is ~5000 bucks with ~1000 bucks for technician makes me think if this vehicle is worth it compared to gas.

Not as reliable as anticipated
I wanted to love this vehicle. I really did. But the number of times it has needed repair has shocked me.

Hybrid Buyer Beware
I purchased this car on 12/22/22. The most important feature for my choice was MPG. After 4+ months with this vehicle I have yet to get over 30.1 MPG. December-April I got 27mpg. Now that it is a little warmer I am barley getting 30 MPG-unacceptable! CRV rarely goes into EV mode. Dealer gave me a list of lame excuses- including "MPG ratings are done under perfect driving conditions. You will probably not get the rated MPG. MPG goes down when you use the defroster. It is your driving style." Well I owned a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and never had any MPG issues- I even got better gas mileage than the rated MPG with the Hyundai. Honda better find a fix-search this problem on internet and you will see I am not the only one with this issue.

Impressed but........
So far I'm loving most of the features and the redesign however, what the heck is up with the whippy horn?? I've owned 3 other CRVs, no issues with the horn. The 2023 sounds like a clown horn at the circus. Surprised no other complaints read here on that. My other con: the cup holder is not deep enough. When I make turns my cup/bottle water falls over. Did they not test this??? One other con to mention, the front bumper sensor for parking does not engage if you have the radio on, WHY? I also did notice that the front seats are rather narrow so if you are on the larger size, you might not be comfortable (or fit). Otherwise, absolutely love my new Touring CRV.
Bring back the spare tire
The Touring dropped 3 items I feel should have remained ... spare tire (safety issue), fog lights (I miss my fog lights when outside city limits!), and garage door button which I used everyday.
