Unfortunate Honda Purchaser
I bought this CRV used from a dealership in Ottawa, Ontario. The seats are so uncomfortable that after 4 hour road trip your body is aching. Worse than flying. Watch out for the brakes, I basically use the vehicle for city driving I will be on my 3rd set of brakes. I have only put 36,000 miles on it since I bought it. I have owned a Honda vehicle for 20 years, this will be the last one.

No problems after hit
I was hit by another car in the back of the car. This car held up well. The seat belt and lumbar seats held my body tight. I am waiting for whiplash pain. After 24 hours, I still feel well. I recommend this car. Update : After some time, I still have no problems, no repairs. I love this car. After a year the car still has no problems. It only goes to the mechanic for oil change. Still in love with this car.

2016 CRV Touring, Nice ride and it has a CD player
It is more roomy than several that i looked at, including RAV4. The navagation is more complicated in the 2016 than the 2017 CRV. I don’t like the navigation system. The 2016 CRV has a CD player which I definitely wanted and many of the newer models do not. Even after 58,000 miles, it is still a good solid vehicle with a smooth ride.

Fun to Drive 2016 CR-V AWD
Fun to drive, and a cinch to park. Cargo area is well-thought out. Exterior is beautiful. Interior is not as luxurious and well-appointed as the Accord. Although this is a SUV, for the price points I think more could be done with the interior design. Having to manually open the hatch is annoying, but I think they took care of that with the 2017 models.

Great little suv
I have only had this for a couple of weeks. It did not have Sirius xm, so the dealer put it in. The backup screen is very useful and I am getting acccustomed to it. We took it on a road trip last week and it handled very well in the rain and in DC traffic. The gas mileage was great. So I am pleased with this purchase.

Honda Lover
First time owning a Honda and would definitely purchase another one. Had my previous Mazda for 16 years with 315,000 miles. I am hoping the Honda CRV will last me just as long. It has great pickup for a 4 cylinder vehicle. The interior cabin is very comfortable for my long drives to work. Can't wait for the winter to try out the heated leather seats. My mechanic said he will miss me because the Honda will not need as many trips to him as my previous car. That is why I bought it because I keep my cars a long time.

Great Value
Excellent, well rounded vehicle with great gas mileage, comfort for four+, and well designed space with good storage. Can’t beat the value and all around utility of the CRV. Only negative is more road noise than expected.

Crash one and see!
Very cost effective car. Having been in a head on crash with an older 2013 model at 40 mph. I feel the structure , air bags etc. saved our lives. Road trips very often have a 480 mile range with anywhere from 25 to 30 mph with regular gas. I would appreciate a bit more front leg room..I am 6’1”. Cargo space suits our needs. It is not the envy of the Mercedes and BMW crowd but money in the bank suits me just fine. Many friends in our neighborhood have them and are very happy with being owners. I think that on a wishlist I would appreciate more soundproofing .. drove a Cadillac SRX for a while which was quieter but not so gas friendly.

This is a well built car. Not high end luxury but very nice and practical. Second row and cargo space are excellent for the car size.

Love my CRV
I had a CRV that I bought new in 2010. I gave it to my daughter when she went away to college and it served her well for 4 years. Had to get back into one
My dream car
If you want a comfortable, reliable, great handling car with good gas mileage and excellent safety features that is a reasonable price, this is the car for you. I was in a major accident with mine that totaled the car, largely because of the cost of replacing the side air bags, but escaped with my life and relatively minor injuries.

Great little vehicle!
Very good excelleration and short breaking distances. Gas mileage is 33-mph on interstate and 25 on country roads. Good heating and A.C. Very good visibility at night with the great lighting system. Automatic down shifting on steep grades was a surprise but useful.

Honda #6!
This is my second CR-V; I traded in a '13 for a '16. There is a lot of the same interior features as the '13, yet the '16 has a lot more electronic features, such as the radio display, updated cameras (and adding the left sided lane assist camera), and usb/hdmi ports. The rear seat compartment now has it's own temperature controls. There is no engine vibration as seen in the '15 model. The road noise is also much quieter than my '13. Honda just does it again, but better, and I'm a Honda lover for life!

Great AWD car
VTEC engine makes lots of power, great safety features, great infotainment system, the interior of the car is comfortable, roomy, and of high quality. Drives great, the AWD really grips. Great gas mileage for a 3500 lb SUV with AWD (31 - 35 MPG on the highway).

Super reliable and easy to drive. Simplest maintenance imaginable: change the oil and replace what wears out. You can’t beat this for dependability and versatility - just drop the seats and carry everything.

Silver bullet
This is a very dependable and cost efficient vehicle on gas and maintenance. Also the look of the body of the car is stylish.
Surprised at how good
Perfect? No, I came to this from a Pilot and probably will have to go back to a bigger vehicle. 62,000 miles, average 29mpg meets my goal of better mpg. However I miss the smoothness of the Pilot’s V6. Totally faultless. Being a touring model it has Adaptive Cruise which every one should have. GPS good, but wish it had CarPlay .

A Used Purchase Perspective
Just got a 2016 Touring AWD CRV with <34K miles of wear & tear and it looks to be in almost new condition (1 previous owner). Didn't know if I'd have reservations about the trans as I've never owned a CVT before - verdict thus far? 2 thumbs up. Had to drive roughly 50 miles home from dealer and came up I95 - I can say the almost 10 year old car has more than a little pep in it's step. Cruising along and didn't realize I was going over 70mph as the car wasn't straining at all. Full disclosure: we own and I drove for at least 5 years a '13 CRV EX that our middle child has at school now with over 100K - no issues. Back in '20 my wife found a great deal on a '12 EX for our oldest who's also at school, again, no issues. Our youngest will be getting their license soon & they'll be driving the mini van ('04 Sienna CE - the thing's a beast, but that's for another time). I have been driving the van since our middle child took over the '13 in spring of '23. Looked at a couple different makes and models with specific ideas on budget and mileage. Looked at CX5's (liked the look of the older models) but the 2013 that we found was a bit too underpowered. Looked at the Forester and while the '16 Limited we found seemed solid ('22 with 22K miles), the looks were a little underwhelming plus CR reviews on reliability were less than stellar, go figure. Looked at a bunch of RAV4s and CRVs but they either had too many miles or priced out of reach. Found this one with the relatively low mileage and (relatively) low cost and decided to jump on it. at time of writing this, literally have only had this CRV for 4 days and haven't gotten to drive much so initial impressions only: Plenty of power on highway. Not looking to hotrod so it's more than adequate. Some professional reviews complain it's under powered or makes horrible noise trying to pass. I didn't experience any of that and was cruising 65-80 for the highway portion of my trip home. Around town driving feels like there isn't as much giddy-up at low RPMs but not bad. Handling seems perfectly fine, haven't had to deal with rain or snow, so no real opinion yet. Gas mileage seems solid - not an electric or hybrid - so if it holds close to what others report getting both on highway and around town, that'll be a win. The electronic interface seems a bit unintuitive, even more so since there's no knobs, and the buttons to press are on the small side, you have to take your eyes off the road to find them. Verdict is still out on the right side camera, I'm a bit old school and never had anything like this before and don't see that it's adding a whole lot like the backup cameras do - I think I'd prefer blind spot monitoring instead. I wear specs for driving and it was night time coming home after purchase - road visibility/headlights are good. someone else mentioned not being able to see out the back - having driven other CRVs, I will politely disagree. Road noise is not a thing - this might be all relative as the van's air seals on the doors are either missing or decomposing - so by contrast the CRV feels like a library with the windows up and sunroof closed. The leather seats aren't bad but I prefer cloth. The heating elements for the front seats seem to work well too. Happy so far and will try to update with any developments or observations as this is a used car purchase and review.

EX in this case is not Extra eXpensive!
Great car! I really wanted the Honda Pilot in white, I just couldn't afford it. So I settled for the CRV, and, of course, the dealer didn't have white, but that's ok - I didn't care for the white exterior/beige interior color scheme and the black on black that I ended up with is really great. I love the ride, LOVE the right-turn & backup camera, and there is just so much room! I also love the fact that I can send and receive texts from my phone over the Bluetooth connection. That makes the car so great for commuting.

Great Vehicle
Love this car! Super comfortable, reliable and great looking too. Doesn't get quite as good gas mileage as my Honda Accord but that was to be expected with a bigger vehicle and AWD. I gave some questions a NA status since I've had it less than a month. But so far...I LOVE IT!!!
