3rd CRV and the Best one!

I wanted to upgrade my 2012 CRV XE AWD and looked at the Touring model for the past year. Key features I was looking for included Home Link, Blind Spot Mirror, automatic lift gate. What I did not expect is the Technology loaded touring model provided, including Nav, lane departure and speed control cruise with automatic braking. Better headlights and interior upgrades such as memory seats for driver and rear heating and cooling vent for rear passengers were pleasant surprises. Update- after 6 months of steady driving, I must say this is a wonderful SUV, I enjoy the features that were lacking in the 2012 CRV with the lift gate automatic opening being the best new feature as well as the safety features in this CRV The ride feels firm with 18" tires and the rims on the touring are much more stylish. Visibility is clear and good both day and night. Regarding performance it is a four granted but driving around town turn the econ button off and there is good pickup, when on the highway and cruising put the econ button on and enjoy the ride and save some gas. Looks could not be happier, got the silver with black interior and it looks great with some quality wax on it looks great. I look forward to having this CRV for many years and could not be more happier. After 2 years of ownership, still enjoy more CRV Touring, has everything I need and more. Low cost of upkeep makes this Honda a Great Buy. I will keep this SUV for a good amount of years, still love the looks and ride along with the many features. After 3 years of ownership still going strong great car, low cost to upkeep it. Looks still great and can't beat the features in touring edition. Had to have battery replaced but covered under warranty so that is good for another 6 years. Final review Car sold and went with Mazda CX5

Dangerous during emergency maneuvers

If you are looking for A reliable around town car that you keep under 45 or 50 miles an hour, then this is a good vehicle. Otherwise this vehicle is very dangerous on curvy roads and on highways. Any attempt at higher speed, 65 mile an hour breaking or turning is quite dangerous. The brakes are non responsive and the body roll is excessive. Additionally, the front seats are horribly uncomfortable, there is virtually no usable cargo space up front and the headlights on low beam give no side illuminations. When you are turning a corner in the dark you could literally run someone over Simply because you did not see them. Good reliable around town car. Keep it under 50 miles an hour

The car is not made efficiently! I have 7,000 miles on the car today. I took the car back to the dealer for noise and vibration. I was told that they replaced the rear Heat shield and that the car was quiet. The car still vibrates at 1200 or less RPM. When I accelerate the noise of vibration is consistent until reaching above 1200 RPM and it runs with plenty of get up but then when descending down a slope the car vibrates and the noise is loud. I have yet to feel comfortable in the car after adjusting the driver seat up and down tilted forward or backward. It simply is not comfortable. There is road noise as well in the cab of the car! It's like driving with the windows open which is not advisable since I live in central Pennsylvania and the temperature is 32 or less. I am totally disheartened by the purchase of this vehicle. I am frustrated every time I have to drive this car. I am totally disappointed and feel cheated in pursuing a new car that I could retire with and not have these concerns and issues. I would not recommend to anyone the purchase of this car and this is my second Honda. Bob Henry

The forward collision warning is great. An oncoming car made a sudden left turn and before I had time to react the brake came on. It is comfortable and the driver side mirror has literally no blind spot. The lane departure warning is a nice feature. There are 2 types of cruise controls. I had a BMW X5 and I am really pleased and surprised with the great value features. I am getting on average 28mpg. sometimes on longer drive 36 mpg

Great SUV but poor quality leather seats

I have had my 2016 CRV Touring model for less than a month and the leather seats are already tearing! They put holes in the leather, dumb mistake on somebody's part. I have 3 little spots that are ripping. I'm so upset, the car is not even a month old. What if you spill liquid on it and it all soaks thru the holes? I have called the service dept. where I purchased but haven't heard from them yet! I love my CRV so far except the seat covering.
