Used 2016 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV AWD w/Navigation (2.4L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
A real stunner
Three if us test drove a RAV-4, Rogue and CRV together. Two of us bought the Rogue. The CRV was a big surprise as we were expecting great things. Performance was sluggish, compared to the others, the ride and noise in the rear seat unacceptable and the touch screen which controls everything a nightmare. Our experienced sales person took 5 touch strokes to turn on the radio and select a station! We couldn't live with the integrated touch screen system for music, climate control and navigation. When we asked about a CD player the salesperson touched a button and the entire integrated screen popped out from the dash and rotated 90 degrees exposing the CD slot in the metal work behind the screen. Try managing a CD change while driving....I think not. Looks like a repair nightmare if you buy this vehicle. The reason for the high rating on technology is that it has outstanding features and lots to offer tech minded folks. As far tech functionality it's a big looser.

REO
Our Honda CR-V has impressive responses, actually took some getting used to, everything is very tight and precise. The speedometer is right on the mark. The engine is peppy and mountain driving has little effect on it. The interior is especially roomy. Love the dual temperatures , including the rear seating area. Disappointed the passenger seat did not have electronic adjustments like the drivers, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, but we hear that was remedied in the 2017 model. The ride isn't bad at all for the size of the vehicle and being all wheel drive, it is probably the most comfortable in it's class. However, our former car was large, Q45 sedan and it had a great ride and amazing seats, so I am having to adjust, a little disappointed but my husband has no problem with the CR-V's ride. The rear seat room is amazing! The cargo area is perfect and we love the way the rear seats fold down easily with a pull of a lever. We love the look of our 2016, glad we didn't wait to see the 2017 change, while subtle, we prefer the 2016. On a mountainous 400 mile trip we averaged 29 miles per gallon on a new engine. Over all we are 5 star pleased with this vehicle and highly recommend it.

My Wife loves the CR-V AWD with NAV.
I have always purchased Fords. When we went to the Ford Dealer. The sales Person, who emailed me and said (come in any time and I will serve you ASAP. After 2 hours waiting for her (she told me to sit down and wait, she was going to lunch). We left and went to Priority Honda (Chesapeake, VA). Shay Patel (Sales Person) located the exact vehicle we were looking for, gave us a free loaner vehicle until the new vehicle arrived, gave us the price Edmunds quoted plus Military discount. Best decision on the best SUV on the market. Payed cash. Thanks to EDMUNDS for your help and support.

So far, so good
My 2016 CR-V, certified with 50,000 miles, has performed reliably in the first two weeks of ownership. I am hopeful about this vehicle and glad to have found, in the Honda dealer community, people who seem committed to service: ensuring that Hondas perform well and safely for their owners.
