Used 2016 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
NEVER BUY ANOTHER HONDA SUV
The 2016 CRV still has a serious vibration issue and there is no fix from Honda. I had a 2015 first and was told that the 2016 did not have the vibration issue but that was not true. Honda used to be a good car but really dropped the ball on this issue. I would never buy another Honda. Buyer beware!!!!!!

New member to our Honda fleet
Have had a Honda fleet for the whole family since 1990, loved and love them all. Quality and reliability of the CRV-EX attracted us and did not disappoint. Not a luxurious interior, but more than sufficient if you are a practical sort. Was a bit surprised and a little disappointed by the relatively small gas tank, about 13 gallons compared to the 18 gallons of our 4-cyl 2.4l 2009 Accord which has fantastic range 450 miles on the highway. The CRV with the smaller tank has a lower range in the 300-350 mile range. Happy with the price we paid after shopping with dealers on the internet, just ask dealers for a quote and compare, and ask others to match your best price. When negotiating with dealers, watch out for the relatively expensive (~$500) dealer package (up-scaled floor mats, locking lugs, a few free oil changes) that they may push on you at the end of the negotiation after a couple of hours invested. Ask about this upfront and walk if you don't want this package.

Unhappy with my 2016 Crv update
So update from my last review 12/20/2016. Today is 1/4/2018, my CRV has been sitting at Honda Service Center since 11/14/2017, I have been given soooooooo much run around with this car it's so frustrating, so I went back to the dealership to speak with the GM, some other guy came out trying to act like it was him he went with me to test drive my car, He drove he get in the car he felt what I was talking about, he drove for about 5 minutes no need to drive any longer because the vibration is there immediately, we get back to the dealership and he trys to give me every excuse in the world as to why all the problems with the car is ok. I went for an oil change and they had to change the battery in a brand new car less then 2 years old, my roof have stains on it come to find out it's freaking leaking, I have video of the radio system malfunctioning and as of this day I still haven't heard from Honda to tell me anything about my car, I'm at my wit's end with The car and Honda I'm going to have to Sue enough is enough, this experience dealing with Honda has elevated my blood pressure and stress levels so much I get sick just knowing I have to deal with them, I thought my ex boyfriend was the worse mistake of my life but nope nope Honda took the title. Cooperate office had the nerve to ask me what do I want them to do smh, they offered nothing all they basically said was oops sorry,

OWNER
DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. I bought this car on my birthday late May 2016 so far I drove in 5 months 13,000 mile and it broke down with over heat 150 miles away from my home at midnight, I got crazy because I never prepare for this situation with a brand new car. They towed my car to the local dealership and I had to call my family to pick me up and arrived home 5 am.The dealership took one and half day and found the problems and can not find the parts and tell me how long it gonna be to fix it(at this review is writing). THE WORST PARTS IS HOW AMERICAN HONDA CUSTOMERS SERVICE TAKING CARE OF YOU. The dealership told me that they have loaner car for me but I have to come to pick it up by my own, I call Honda car customer service at 1 800 999 1009 and spoke with Stephanie and asked about reimbursement for car rental from my home(150 miles away) and she said no and sorry. She told me that I should tow my car back to the dealership near by my home, it my fault to bring the car to local dealer that night, how I know that because when the tow truck from Honda arrived and he give me two local dealerships to choose.

Goldilocks SUV "Just Right"
I am very tall, as are the rest of my family. The CRV has exceptional interior space, plenty of head room and elbow room. Windows in the front provide excellent visibility. Visibility to the sides and rear are limited due to the small windows. I don't like Honda's change to the new "squashed" version of its SUV line (Pilot, CRV, HRV). However, the "Lane Watch" and rear view cameras do seem to adequately compensate for the limited visibility out the side and rear windows. Personally I would prefer bigger windows. That being said, I do love my new car. I was originally going to purchase the LX base model, but the interior felt really light and fragile. The upholstery looked like it would stain and tear easily. I went with the EXL which is perfect. The car handles well, and gas mileage is good. I previously owned a Fit, which I absolutely loved, but I needed AWD for snow and mountain roads. I then bought a Pilot, which I also loved, but it was way too big for my needs, cumbersome to maneuver, and expensive for maintenance. The CRV is "just right" halfway between the two.
