Just picked up new 2015 Honda CRV EX-L few days and quickly figured out the problem that most people mention about the vibration during idle. When put on the brake at the stop sign or traffic light, driver can feel the vibration on the chair, steering wheel, some time the vibration is strong like having a massage on the back.

Disappointing

I wanted the flexibility and fuel economy of a smaller SUV. I got all that, plus a lot of other things I did not bargain for. The seats are firm and uncomfortable. The driveability is completely uninspiring - I wasn't expecting much and still was disappointed. The in-car audio/hands free system was a complete disaster. Music would start playing halfway through a phone call. People on the other end of the line had great difficulty hearing me through the hands free microphone. My dealer could/would do *nothing* about this. The controls on the steering wheel are not intuitive in the least. The second screen mounted above the main entertainment system is spectacularly useless. Don't ever try to do a thing with the LCD screen while making a right turn because you'll be subjected to the right side mirror mounted cam which serves little if any practical purpose. The headlights are SO bright that you cannot drive this vehicle at night without others flashing their bright lights at you - even when yours are not turned on. I made a huge mistake in purchasing this vehicle and am about to do something I've never done before - turn a car in after less than a year with it.

Massage chair set on vibrate

Want a massage during your mani /pedi? get one on this car. Great for a 15 min massage but extremely uncomfortable on long journeys or sitting in traffic for a long time. Plus the steering wheel rocking wildly back and forth after the Odometer reaches 14,000 miles while the transmission is slipping does not feel as safe or comforting as a massage.

Vibrations will drive you crazy

We owned this vehicle for one day when I said to my husband, "this car needs to be tuned." We brought it back to the dealer and they said they could not do anything. Honda did not have a fix. We test drove the car when it was cold out -- it did not vibrate. When the car warms up -- the vibrations are so bad that I do not like driving the car. Don't buy this car until they fix the problem. I have been waiting 4 months ...no fix yet.

Transmission wheezing

My transmission emits a high pitched wheezing while in motion. Two different Honda service managers from different dealers tell me this: These new transmissions are designed with "gears that float"???? This seems to cause internal pressure not found during design testing. The wheezing sound is the pressurized air escaping from a tiny hole in the trans gasket. Honda knows this and as everyone has heard they do NOT care. Perhaps the reason I do not experience any shaking is due to the pressure being released and not pent-up. In any case, please know I will be hiring an attorney skilled in class action suits and will urge you to join in!!!!! Stay tuned
