Used 2015 Honda CR-V EX 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
Most bad car I have owned
This car is my headache since I bought in 2015. A lot of problems like engine stop suddenly while you are driving; a badly squeeze sound from some where cannot be found by Honda dealership in Montclair, CA, also includes vibration. In this February, dealership told me they can fix the vibration by updating software. They did and vibration degree reduced to be endured. Recently 2015 Honda CR-V recalled for engine CVT problem, I sent my car back to dealership, and was told after updating the software, the vibration problem can be fixed completely. But I disappointed again, the vibration problem comes back, that means it is vibration again like one year ago when I bought this CRV! I hate this kind of vibration which make me irritated while I am driving on the road. So Honda should stop its advertisement " the best car of 2016" to mislead customers. I just bought car in March, and one week late I found the car has vibration problem, and felt a slight jump on the freeway if the car in high speed. I reported this problem to dealership and Honda Headquarter, they said it is under investigation, but without time frame. This problem not only happened on my car. Honda knows this, but they don't want to solve this. They keep saying no safety issue. From Honda's attitude to this problem, who will believe them, and how we can trust them!!! Why we should buy a NEW car with problems! Why should we be suffered by the vibration while driving on the freeway?! Why should we pay a NEW car price to get a defeat car?! It is not fair to customers!

After 3 years and 3 Weeks - I have had enough
I purchased this car 12/31/2014. I thought I was making a good decision even though my 2012 had a leaking roof. I will say my experience with the car and Honda has led me to not buy another car from them again (which sucks - their cars are usually great!). Within 6 months of buying the car, the car would make a creaking/groaning noise when I would make turns at low speeds under 45 MPH. Dealer said they could not hear it. 11 month into owning this car - the vibration issue began to occur. As many people have commented on - the maximum vibration occurs when you are stopped at a light in D with your foot on the brake. It is so noticeable that my passengers have said things about. There has been times I can be at a light and the vibrations radiate up my leg. The passenger seat will shake so much you can see the headrest moving. In November 2015, I had the TSB work done for the vibrations but honestly it still occurred. By March 2017, I was basically in the dealership for 6 weeks straight trying to get the creaking noise fixed. I had video after video of it. They replaced the steering wheel, a rear strut (why?), welded some frame spots, and it never went away. I ended up going to arbitration with Honda - which honestly is not so fair when Honda pays for the program, chooses the arbitrator, and chooses the dealership you bought it from/had it serviced from as the spot of the hearing. I lost the case but filed a suit in Georgia state court (must file in the county where the company is registered and in Georgia it is Glynn County). Anyways I won a settlement and took the check and vowed to not buy another one. Had the vibration and creaking issues not occurred I would have kept this car for a long long long time. The gas mileage was fantastic I could easily average in the 30's going to and from work. The original brakes and tires were still in great shape after I traded it in at 49K. The cargo space is pretty decent. I will say the infotainment is a little lacking - but most Honda's are not the most up to date in that department. Maintenance was pretty much oil changes and tire rotations. The battery died just shy of the 3 year mark, which was a little disappointing. The headlights have always looked good to and I liked the LED strip in them. The engine performance was a little weak but I would expect that if I am getting 30+ MPG, it would be a little more tame than other motors out there. I did like that there is a huge network of Honda dealerships so you could shop around service. Most dealerships tried to take advantage of me trying to push services that were not required by the maintenance minder. I would recommend doing your research before setting foot into them. While I did have some good moments in the car, I am glad it will be someone else's problem now!

Very happy
Still love it, at 50k mikes purchased tires and replaced rear brake pads. That is it, all normal expected maintenance. Still love it, great vehicle. Purchased it new. The gas mileage is fantastic. Around town always at least 29mpg, a trip from Aiken to Charleston , total trip on state highways got 38.7mpg on entire trip. Trips on interstate highways at 70+mph we get about 32.5 MPG. Vibration at stop lights, yes. The vibration is not unbearable and considering the price of the vehicle and outstanding MPG very tolerable. I tow a 15' aluminum utility boat and the CRV does fine. Maintenance, no issues here. Since buying the car new, nothing other than oil changes. Again considering the reasonable price, the CRV is very comfortable for short or long trips. Easy to get in and out. Rear seats easy to fold and the vehicle will hold a lot.

CR-V Passenger Seat Vibration
I just purchased a CR-V EX model yesterday. After I got the CR-V from the dealer, I immediately found that the passenger seat vibrated at idle with in D drive position when air condition is off. You cannot find this in your test driving since the dealer occupied the passenger during the test drive. Do all 2015 CR-V have this passenger problem? This is exactly showed in the following by other https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SR-YQAJRRB8&noredirect=1 In the ABS 7, Honda spokesman said that Honda is aware of the situation and is researching whether a meaningful fix can be forthcoming. He expects one this year.
