not tough like the old CRV's

owned three of the old models (1999-2001) and they required minimal major repair, not luxurious but solid dependable vehicles. Purchased a 2011 for my daughter off lease and a 2010 off lease for myself. Certainly not like the old Honda's. Major repairs and minor required on both... catalytic converter, major brake repairs, CD players that don't work, seat heaters not working etc etc. Looks like I'll need to move to the suburu or Toyota for my next small SUV

I began my journey reviewing the GMC Terrain, Chevy Equinox, Toyota RAV4, and of course the Honda CR-V. Although many of these vehicles are great and capable vehicles for my needs, I found that the Honda CR-V beat them all in comfort, build quality, and value. My biggest liking is the gas mileage and the storage capacity. Both of these are outstanding for a AWD vehicle such as the CR-V. Also, the price point is great considering what you get in the EX-L package (Leather, Sunroof, Heated Seats/Mirrors, Etc...) After 3 years of ownership, I have over 60K miles and average 25MPG (30% city, 70% highway). Definitely consider the CR-V when looking for your next SUV.

Loved my first one so much I bought a second one. Loved the interior features such as a place to put my purse and the second small compartment on the passenger side. These two features are gone from the newer models so I am keeping this one as long as I can. It has had minimal repairs and I just finished a 3500 mile driving trip with no problems at 157000 miles on the odometer.

I've had my CR-V for six month and driven it through a very snowy Pennsylvania winter. Overall, I love the CR-V and would not hesitate to buy one again. Pros: - Part time AWD was great in snow and icy conditions. Never got stuck even going up icy roads. Got wind-blown into a snow bank and drove right back out - Great MPG for AWD SUV - averaging almost 26 mpg mostly rural (29mpg on the highway) - Leather seats are very very comfortable on long drives - Tons of cargo capacity Cons: - Mine and many other CR-Vs have poor fit and finish. Doors and trim don't line up right. - Jarring over bumps - more like a truck than a car - Nav is primitive and overpriced

Poor Audio & Brake is funny

Audio sound increase when I am driving, I don't know why but I ask the dispatching staff of T&T Honda Calgary, he told me its a design from Honda to increase its volume once you accelerated. And the brake is not as good as my old CR-V 2006, there is some funny situation when I used the brake, it stops but not good stop. I don't like also the head rest of the 2nd row
