Used 2010 Honda CR-V LX 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
An above avg small SUV
Folks, this is just a small SUV, so don't expect too much on power and torque. And since it's "SUV", so don't expect its MPG better than your CIVIC either. Overall, a well built car with better than average power and MPG. I have no problem merging on freeways, cruising on streets. Comb MPG is always around 26. Worst MPG ever got was around 20 (mainly driven on streets). Handling is Honda typical, meaning good. You can drive it like a sedan except when you cornering. After all it's SUV. Nice thing to note is you can change oil once a YEAR. But to be kind to your car, and FGS, change the oil every 6 months.
still will stick with honda
I have had my car for over six years . it has 262000 miles on it so therefore it has proved it's reliability .The problems have been the excessive use of oil of which there was a recall but I was already over the mileage, I had to replace the air conditioner last summer , I have problems with the doors not locking properly , the cloth seats are light and therefore maintain dirt easily and of course , the seat belt recall . Overall , I have been satisfied with the performance of the car and intend to drive it at least another year . I hope that they corrected some of the problems in the next models . My 2010 Honda CRV was totalled in October 2017 . It had 295000 miles on the original motor and transmission .I had just drove it to Texas a month before . I just purchased a 2017 Crv because I had the 2002 which got 300000 miles before it was totalled and the 2010 295000. I know Hondas are reliable so I stick with them .

Purchase Experience
It's very stable driving my new CR-V and the seats are comfortable. I buy this new CR-V because I had a CR-V before. Honda vehicles are very reliable. This my third car that I bought from Honda.
Very Good Value for the price.
I was debating between a RAV-4 and CR- V. I choose CR-V because it looks better outside, and the interior is nicer. I also stuck with Honda because my previous Hondas gave me excellent service. CR-V is comfortable, handles well, and has a nice feel of a bigger vehicle. It is averaging at 24 MPG. To me, addition of extra horsepower for 2010 is good but still meager. Honda needs to put a bigger powerplant to make this vehicle stand-out above the rest. A 2.7 liter four cylinder will do the CR- V right. I also gave thought to the new Chevy Equinox but it costs more than the comparable CR-V. All in all, I feel that I made a good choice even though CR-V can use more power.
I love my new SUV!!!
I just replaced my 2001 Accord with this new CRV on October 3, and just love it. The seats are quite a bit firmer than the Accord, but not uncomfortable. The blue lights in the dash are easy on the eyes and nothing is obstructed from view. Also, love sitting up higher. Always hated following behind other SUVs because of the blocked view of the road ahead. Now I'm one of them and it feels great.
